Approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. You can check your glucose by scanning your sensor with your phone. Now FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor users can get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute and also receive alarms when your glucose is low or high. [1]

You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:

* View your current glucose reading, trend arrow and glucose history
* Receive low or high glucose alarms with FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors
* See reports, such as Time in Range and Daily Patterns
* Share your data with your doctor and family, with your permission

SMARTPHONE COMPATIBILITY
Compatibility may vary between phones and operating systems. Learn more about compatible phones at http://FreeStyleLibre.com.

USING YOUR APP AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can only be issued on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor with your reader. Once the sensor has been started with the reader, you can also scan that sensor with your phone.

Remember that the app and reader do not share data with each other. For complete information on a device, scan your sensor every eight hours with that device; otherwise, your reports will not include all your data. You can upload and view data from all of your devices on LibreView.com.

[1] If you are using the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you must also have access to a blood glucose monitoring system, as the app does not provide one.

[2] Alarms that you receive do not include your glucose reading, so you must scan your sensor to check your glucose.

Great sensor and app but showing errors

I am using librelink sensor 2. It worked well for the first sensor. I was able to manage my sugar better with the low and high glucose alarms.
Upon using my second sensor, I noticed that the alarms were not activated. Searching through the internet, it seems a common error. Hope this got resolved.

Second issue is the backup of data. The only solution of above(alarm activation error) is to reinstall the app. This solution worked but I lost all my data. Would be great to have a cloud backup of my data.

Libre 2: Graph Scale is unhelpful

Great app to monitor your glucose, however the lack of being able to change the range of view makes it really unhelpful when you’re trying to determine what your glucose readings were on a graph. The glucose axis jumps from 50 to 100 and then to 150. This makes it impossible to determine what the values on the graph were. You can’t even interact with the graph at a particular time to see what the reading was.

2 things I hope they can make better in the app:

1. The scale of axis to be either adjustable or better yet, for the graph to be interactive to scroll to any point in time to get what the reading at that time was. This would be particularly helpful when you are trying to measure your glucose spike based on various variables such as a particular type of food. Unless you had scanned the data at the exact moment of the peak (which is impossible to know) you can’t really measure it accurately as the graph is not readable. So, it’s a bit annoying that the app and sensor are recording all this data but you just can’t read it.

2. To also display the average glucose for the day (this data is really helpful when you setting targets for yourselves and can adjust your food intake, exercise, etc)

Scan Sensor option on App stopped working

I'm always using Freestyle Libre 2 and I can't keep my blood sugar in range without it.
However,I don't know what's wrong with the App it suddenly stopped SCAN Sensor button from opening the page that asks you to hold ur iphone near the sensor and then actually scan it!!
I was able to scan my current sensor couple of times and then couldn't anymore! The button is not dimmed it just doesn't respond when I press it! No idea what to do as I already tried (Checking for update, Force quit the App and re-open, turn of iPhone and re-open it and disconnected Bluetooth and re-activated it but all that didn't get the Scan button on App to work again!
