It’s only been 2 days since I have been using GoodNotes 5 and I love it. The UI is so simple and the organization of folders within folders is amazing. I do wish that good notes did add some templates to folders as they look pretty boring for a student like me who separates each subject using a folder. I also understand how with the continuous updates to the new iPads it is difficult for GoodNotes to keep up with their updates, however they have done a great job when it comes to adding new ideas such as the sharing feature which is still a bit confusing to me at first but starting to get easier and the elements tool bar that saves me a lot of time when drawing a graph. Some more requests I would like to add is the audio recording feature, good notes said it was on their to do list since January 2019 on a Twitter post but hasn’t given any information since, I do also wish that there was a scratch paper option on the iPad for example, when I do a short exam or answering a few questions which takes paper I have to make a completely new notebook goodnotes and then do my work and delete it later on, I think goodnotes can add an option for scratch paper where it will delete after use or delete after a certain amount of time. One last request I have for goodnotes is the improvement on Mac, I am great full that there even is an option on all three platforms but the goodnotes on Mac is certainly more laggy. Otherwise the main platform which is for the iPad is near to perfection when it comes to the features and there are simply no bugs.

GoodNotes is, without a doubt, the best app I have ever tried for note-taking and digital planning. Its intuitive interface, powerful features, and seamless performance make it a must-have tool for anyone looking to digitize their handwritten notes and documents. The subscription is absolutely worth it, offering tremendous value for the price. One of the standout features of GoodNotes is its flexibility in customizing the paper size. Recently, I was able to create a large paper by changing the scale to 4K (3840 x 2160). This allowed me to work on a significantly larger canvas, which was incredibly useful for detailed diagrams and expansive notes. However, there are a couple of enhancements that would make GoodNotes even better: 1. **Infinite Canvas**: Introducing an infinite canvas option would be a game-changer. It would allow users to continuously expand their workspace without having to worry about running out of space, which is particularly beneficial for brainstorming sessions and mind mapping. 2. **Contrast Color Pen Tool**: It would be fantastic to have a pen tool that automatically adjusts its color to contrast with the background color it hovers over. This would ensure maximum visibility and readability of notes, regardless of the background color. Overall, GoodNotes is an exceptional app that has transformed the way I take notes and manage my digital documents. The existing features, combined with the potential improvements, make it a truly indispensable tool for anyone in need of a reliable and versatile note-taking app.

Idc abou the nickname
It is very hard for a teacher to be able to share documents with students. Our teacher is not able to send us any documents through Goodnotes because for the fact that students are able to edit and probably delete whatever they want on the document. Teachers are not feeling safe or secure in sending sharing the documents with their students. There’s something that has to be changed. At the same time other stuff also has to be changed. For example, the transfer of pictures and text through the pages could be a lot more smooth, and also there could be a good feature, which is Turning text into handwritten notes. That’s something that’s gonna be similar to Notability another app and there could be an AI in the settings or something like that in which the user could write different letters and sentences for the app to be able to recognize person’s handwriting later on in the Notes themselves and be able to Change the text into handwriting that is similar to the users.
