Played for 8 years so I know the functionality inside out.Did my wildcard at the international break. The system accepted it and then treated it as 11 substitutions deducting me 40 points. Previously you would get a dialogue box saying ‘you are about to deduct 40 points- do you wish to proceed’ but not any more. Wrote in-no joy. Season ruined due to MORE functionality glitches!!!

Quite frankly an update that no one wanted. App is buggy as hell, expect lags galore with this one. An awful experience but that does not match the half hearted attempt by the developers at an update.Edit Update: Despite having an update on 11 Sept, the app is as good as trash. Why? For starters you’ll end having a frozen screen within 10 seconds of logging in. You might as well swipe as much as you can, it will not budge. If you do happen to get lucky by tapping onto other menus within the app, then guess what…….more frozen screen!! And it’s not just that the app will keep signing you out several times and will keep asking for your password with almost every second log-in attempt. You’re better off using the website even though it suffers the same logi-in issues mentioned here. At this point the app is no not usable anymore that it’s left a bad experience. I’m unsure of ever continuing with FPL after this.
The Worst Update for the World’s Best League

It’s unbelievable that the official app for the world’s most popular league is this bad. With over 10 million users worldwide, how can the app still be this slow? Loading takes minutes, navigation feels like driving a Peugeot 124 in 2025, and the latest update is honestly worse than old Atari games from the 2000s.This is not worthy of the Premier League brand. Last year’s app was smooth and efficient, but now everything is slow, buggy, and crashes for no reason.This needs urgent improvement before users lose patience completely and the negative reviews pile up. Please fix this — the current version is a mess.

Fantasy Premier League is a fun and exciting game that makes watching football even better. I enjoy building my team, competing with friends, and making weekly transfers. The app is easy to use, and the game rewards good strategy. I highly recommend it to any football fan.
This version includes minor improvements and bug fixes.
