Okay so I started using Galatea recently and honestly it’s sooo fun. The stories are quick to read but super addictive—you keep saying “one more chapter” and suddenly an hour is gone 😂. It kinda feels like Wattpad but more polished, and the way the app delivers the stories makes it feel really immersive. There’s a good mix too—romance, fantasy, thrillers—so you can always find something depending on your mood. I like that the writing is actually good and not super messy like on some other apps.If you’re into reading on your phone and want something fresh, I definitely recommend giving this a try!
It’s a nice app

So personally I got hooked on this one book called Life is Not a Game. It’s a nice and fun story. I find they the books here are a lot more engaging than normal books due to the modern way it displays the stories. However, I do dislike the fact that we need so many points just to read one chapter. I had to downloads apps, perform tasks like following their page, and referring friends; yet it never is enough to read more than a few chapters. I wish there was a way to earn points continuously like watching advertisements. I am unable to purchase points which is frustrating because I truly like the story I am reading… if there is a way to implement a function where I watch ads to unlock chapters or points, then please can you add it?
Developer Response
Glad "Life Is Not a Game" hooked you like that! We hear you on the points system feeling limiting, especially when you're really into a story. Your idea about earning points through ads is great feedback, and we'll pass it along to the team shaping how unlocks work. Thanks for sticking with the app despite the frustration.
Beautiful novels

I recently came across galatea ad in instagram and i was instantly attracted to the story line that was displayed. At first i thought its a gimmick but when i checked app store it showed good reviews and best ratings. So i installed it and am enjoying the storyline from the novel ‘Keily’ i am almost about to finish the first part and soon will be jumping to the second. I m loving galatea a lot every day i wait for the timer of 6 hours just for the next chapters to get unlocked. Thank-you for this amazing app.
Okay
Kansses
Overall, it’s a good app, and I enjoy the books it offers. However, the issue is that they force users to subscribe. There are books that are only accessible if you subscribe, and the points and wait system don’t work on them. This is frustrating, especially since I was considering subscribing but am unsure about its safety. There are reviews that mention that canceling a subscription is a hassle, and some people even paid for an additional year even after canceling. I’m not comfortable using my card on this app.
Spooky szn is here, and so are the updates. We've banished bugs like they're bad exes, polished the app 'til it glows, and made sure your fall reading slaps harder than a perfectly timed plot twist.
Cozy sweaters, pumpkin everything, and stories that keep you up past midnight? That's the vibe. Need us? Knock knock: https://galatea.zendesk.com/hc/en-us"
