Upwork has proven to be highly unreliable and a complete scam operations. The so-called “freelancers” on the platform acted dishonestly, zero knowledge, took over $3,000 without delivering the agreed work and refusing any refund. Upwork’s dispute process failed to resolve the issue, claiming "we missed the 5 day window", allowing these individuals Scamers to exploit the 5-day dispute window until the funds were automatically released to them, and upwork cannot offer the any mediation assistance nor took any actions to refund the money for the undelivered services. I strongly advise against using the platform.
