Unite has become one of the most frustrating and mentally draining games I’ve played. What starts as a fun MOBA quickly turns into an exhausting cycle of poor matchmaking, unbalanced characters, pay-to-win concerns, and constant ranked frustration. The matchmaking is one of the biggest problems. Solo players are regularly thrown into games with teammates who feel completely mismatched in skill, while the opposing side often looks coordinated and unfairly stronger. This makes ranked feel less about skill and more about luck.Balance is another major issue. Certain Pokémon are clearly overtuned for long periods, and by the time fixes come, the meta has already become stale and repetitive. Instead of rewarding strategy, the game often rewards abusing whatever is currently broken. The monetization also feels aggressive. Expensive skins, event passes, and progression systems constantly push spending, which takes away from what should be a skill-based competitive experience. Most importantly, this game is genuinely bad for mental health. The combination of toxic-feeling matches, constant losing streaks, unfair teammates, and high-stress ranked systems makes it emotionally exhausting. Instead of being enjoyable, it often leaves players tilted, irritated, and mentally drained after just a few matches.A game should be fun, rewarding, and worth your time. Pokémon UNITE often feels like the exact opposite.I would strongly recommend not downloading this game unless you want unnecessary stress and frustration.
