Everything is fine except you have to add the safe surface intervals needed between several dives on the same day, same as other diving computer, yesterday after our first dive all my college having a dive computer knew how much time they have to stay on surface before doing the second dive , except me i was really confused as i dont have a clear time on the screen

Hello, thank you for your review. You may be using gauge/snorkel mode while you are diving. Our Scuba mode calculates your tissue loading as well as surface intervals when diving. If you have further questions, please email us at service@huishoutdoors.com.
Day 3 Testing of Apple Ultra Oceanic Scuba app

Gear setupPrimary DC: Garmin Descent mk1Secondary DC: Apple UltraRecreational Sidemount: 2 tanks air/nitroxPros. Display. Colors are bright and readable. Amount of information it registers is great. Dive watch face on surface is unique. User friendly. You can setup your gas % on predive checks. Then once you reach the dive site. You can just jump right it. Hassle free.Material. Yes…I dove without any cover protection for the glass or titanium casing. Banged up the watch a few times with sidemount equipment. Loving the straps and quality of the material they chose to use. Cons. Gas switches. We can only register 1 type of gas at a time during a dive.Syncing. Even after a dive day. Syncing to your iPhone registers as complete but doesn’t display your dives that day.Greed……My wife has Shearwater Teric and I have a Garmin. Everything comes with software updates and firmware updates on day of DC purchased. Oceanic Apple Subscription even with me and her on a family plan of 500 aed a year cost. Would buy us a new DC in 2-3 years. Mind that this is also after paying for the watch itself. I had my Garmin Descent mk1 for 5 years and her Shearwater Teric for 3 years. The Apple Ultra/Oceanic is asking you to pay a subscription that coats more than other DC competitors but performs less. Logically this is a no brainer. If Apple really wanted to attract the extreme consumer. This is definitely not the stepping stone to do so. I recommend my diving students to buy a Garmin or Shearwater for performance and quality of purchase. An apple user since 2008…

Disappointed

Oceanic diving computers are one of the worst experiences a diver can endure. The computer shuts down while in use and often hangs, meaning that when a diver resurfaces, all user-defined settings like conversion from meters to feet and from Celsius to Fahrenheit are reset to the computer's defaults. The user-friendliness of the software is so bad that it seems impossible to retrieve the money paid for yearly subscriptions. In addition, the lack of reliable customer service and poor quality assurance have resulted in many frustrated users who are unable to troubleshoot the hardware and software. Furthermore, many Oceanic users have experienced bugs and crashes during dives, resulting in data loss and unsafe conditions.Overall, the Oceanic diving computer experience is a major let down. It was a poor investment, and it fails to deliver on its promises of a safe, seamless and enjoyable dive. Users should stay away from this product.
So so.

I dive not very often, so decided to by one-day license when I need it. First time it was okay, my dive with nitrox was well. The app behaves very conservative and notifies about the safety stops and higher ascending pace than expected. Two weeks after I planned a air dive. At the needed day I bought one-day license in the morning, but getting on the place I found that my Oceanic+ app wasn't being synchronized with the phone and couldn't get the license. It required the fresher WatchOS version, which depends on the fresher iphone version. So I wasn't able to update my devices sitting in a boat far from the coast. At that day I happingly had my diving Garmin. In conclusion, I've wasted my single-day license for nothing. And I got that the AW Ultra with Oceanic+ can be used only as a backup, because It seemed as a really unreliable solution.
