No use if no actual remote

My actual remote for Philips tv got damaged I repairable so I downloaded this app n it took 39.90 dhs from me but I can’t use it unless my actual remote is used and to click the ON button only than the mobile remote can get activated.lol what’s the use paying n being handicapped by the app if it works through remote of the tv only .Make it work without remote through app 100% only than the money is worth buying or paying to the app .

The app requires the Philips TV to already be connected to Wi-Fi, and the TV needs to be turned on before the app can connect. Unfortunately, the app cannot turn on a TV that has never been connected to it before. If you don’t have a working physical remote, you can usually turn on the TV using the physical buttons located on the back or bottom of the TV screen. Once the TV is on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone, you can try connecting through the app. Most TVs have a small button on the frame you can use to select “OK.” You can also plug in a USB mouse or keyboard and click “Allow” on the screen.
