Version 2.0 brings the biggest update to Kompresso!
- Batch compression: You can now select multiple videos and compress them in one go. Choose Unified Mode to apply the same settings to all videos, or Individual Mode to configure each video separately.
- Custom video picker: Kompresso now includes a faster, custom-built video picker. It also lets you sort videos by size and filter them by album.
- In-app settings: A dedicated settings page is now available at the top-right corner of the video picker. You no longer need to visit the system Settings to configure Kompresso.
- Seamless transitions: Kompresso now uses a custom navigation system to make transitions between screens smoother and more fluid.

Share extension is here!
- You can now open supported video files with Kompresso from anywhere using the Share Sheet. Just tap Share, then select Kompresso from the list.
Light mode is here!
- Kompresso now looks even better with the newly added light mode! We’ve also tweaked contrast in dark mode, making it look better than ever.
Other new features and changes:
- Metadata Retention is now enabled by default. You can disable it anytime by going to Settings → Apps → Kompresso.
- Added a new toggle to control haptic feedback, so now you can disable haptics if you prefer a quieter experience.
- Encoding options are now unrestricted — you can freely convert H.265 videos to H.264.
- Compressed files are now named based on their original filenames, with a “kompresso_” prefix — instead of using the current date and time.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur while trying to open certain unsupported video files.
- Fixed the compression progress bar displaying incorrect values for some users.
- Fixed an issue where some buttons in Advanced Options displayed incorrect selections while switching between Simple Options and Advanced Options.
- Fixed a rare issue that could cause the app to freeze for a few seconds when launching after a cold start.
