1.14.16 9 Oct
• New 3D Body Scan: a guided scan with your iPhone that builds an interactive 3D model of your body with your measurements. Open it from + → Wellness → 3D Body Scan.
• Save your scans, track your measurement progress, compare two scans, set measurement goals and export a PDF report.
• Processing continues even if you leave the app after the upload, and you get a notification when your scan is ready.
• PlateLens PRO now tracks soluble fiber, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and unsaturated fat, caffeine and EPA+DHA omega-3.
• Nutrient gauges on Home and in the Diary now show the recorded amount next to the daily percentage.
• Dictate meal corrections and photo hints with your voice.
• Refreshed shareable meal cards, now in your language.
• Enter your weight with decimals during onboarding and when editing your goal weight.
• More reliable meal analysis, daily Balance and account setup, smoother animations and general stability improvements.
1.14.14 27 Sept
• Adjust your meals by servings, weight or volume, with clearer quantities that are easier to view and edit.
• Choose an amount when scanning a barcode or logging saved and recent meals.
• Log meals more easily with photos, voice or text, using simpler date, time and meal type controls.
• Improved meal corrections that better retain your previous instructions.
• Refreshed menus and improved forms that keep what you’re typing visible above the keyboard.
• Improvements to glucose history, data syncing and overall stability.
1.4.12 8 Sept
Your PlateLens diary is now more precise, and Home is more personal.
• Set and edit when a meal actually happened, even when logging it later.
• Add exercise start times and durations, with smarter details from your description.
• Record additional health measurements, including blood glucose, from iPhone or Apple Watch, with optional Apple Health sync and clear history views.
• Let activity adjust your carbohydrate and fat targets as well as calories.
• Personalize Home by reordering health cards and choosing which ones appear.
Also includes smoother navigation, clearer charts, easier meal corrections, and reliability improvements throughout PlateLens.
1.4.11 1 Sept
You can now put PlateLens right on your watch face. Pick any of your gauges — calories, protein, water, steps, or any of 30+ available — and see it at a glance, without opening the app.
• Complications for every face: circular, corner, inline and rectangular
• They update on their own through the day; no need to open the app on your watch
• Tap one to go straight to that gauge's detail
• Your face can show gauges that aren't on your Home screen
• The face tells you honestly when a number hasn't refreshed for a while, instead of showing a stale figure as current
Also: meals logged from your watch now count toward your league, and your league's status is explained more clearly while it's being assigned.
1.4.9 19 Aug
PlateLens is now on Apple Watch.
Log meals, water, and exercise from your wrist, see calories, macros, steps, and hydration at a glance, and talk with your Coach using dictation.
Also new:
• Personal nutrient targets for Premium members.
• Hydration import from Apple Health, plus progress toward your daily water goal.
• New controls for in-app sounds and haptic feedback.
• Clearer nutrition details, a more focused Daily Score, and reliability improvements across logging and syncing.
1.4.8 15 Aug
- You can now set personal daily minimum or maximum targets for tracked nutrients, including fiber, sodium, sugars, cholesterol, vitamins, minerals, and omega-3.
- Personal nutrient targets are now reflected consistently across gauges, Diary, Coach guidance, and weekly and monthly PDF reports.
- Change calorie, macro, and supported nutrient targets directly from the nutrient breakdown, with clearer navigation and easy reset options.
- Rebuilt Apple Health weight syncing to accurately handle measurements, dates, corrections, deletions, and multiple weigh-ins on the same day without creating duplicates.
- Weight history now clearly distinguishes Apple Health measurements from PlateLens entries. Health-managed weight and date remain protected while PlateLens progress photos and body-fat details are preserved.
- Improved weight logging and history reliability with duplicate-submit prevention, correct same-day ordering, localized dates, and safer editing and removal flows.
- Meal corrections now respect an exact total calorie value when you provide one.
- Improved the nutrient breakdown layout and fixed additional stability and interface issues.
1.4.6 11 Aug
This is our biggest update yet: widgets, Live Activities, and a long list of fixes.
WIDGETS
- Calories Left — how much room you have today, on your Home Screen
- Streak — your run and the last seven days
- Fasting Timer — a live countdown to your next window

- Lock Screen and StandBy sizes for most of them
LIVE ACTIVITIES
- A fasting countdown on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
- An optional calories activity, off by default — turn it on in More
- Both keep ticking without opening the app, and roll over correctly at midnight
LOGGING
- Barcode: quarter-portion steps, so you can log a quarter or a half of a product
- Barcode: when a product does not state a serving size, we now ask how much of the package instead of pretending a serving exists
- Barcode: many more products found, using full nutrition data rather than estimates
- Saved and recent meals: search now looks at ingredients too, and shows how many matches each tab holds
- Meal photos: sharing works again from the chat
FIXES
- Fixed the freeze that could leave the app unresponsive after a celebration or popup
- Weight now stores exactly the pounds you typed, with no rounding drift
- Water no longer shows or saves the wrong amount in imperial units
- The camera no longer forces a shutter sound on a silenced phone
- Voice notes respect the silent switch
- The "You're offline" banner no longer appears when you are not
- Fasting times are consistent across every screen, including on daylight-saving days
- Fixed the activity card contradicting the rings above it
- Onboarding no longer argues with the calorie target you chose
- Dozens of smaller corrections to layout, wording and translations
1.4.5 4 Aug
Meet Balance — see both sides of your energy equation.
• New Balance screen: calories in vs. calories out — by day, week, month, and all-time
• Honest math: we count the larger of your estimated activity or what your watch measured — never both
• New charts: daily bars against your plan, a monthly calendar view, and long-term trends
• A weekly verdict with your estimated pace, right on your Home screen — tap the new Balance gauge for a full breakdown
• Plain-language explanations everywhere: tap any number to understand exactly where it comes from
• Your AI coach now understands your energy balance too
Barcode scanning, corrected
• Scanning more than one serving no longer doubles your calories
• Drinks measured in millilitres are read as volume, not weight
• When a product has no serving size listed, we tell you and estimate a realistic one, instead of quietly assuming 100 g
Measurements you can trust
• The pound you type is the pound we save
• Every whole pound is selectable when you set a goal weight
• Heights no longer show impossible values like 5'12"
• If you use imperial units, water now shows in fluid ounces everywhere — including the home screen widget
Daily Score, rebuilt
• Your score centres on your own calorie target and stays steady through the day — reaching your goal early is no longer penalised
• Clearer streak recovery, and a scan counts only once it finishes successfully
Chat with your coach
• Photos and voice notes from older conversations load again
• Retrying after a lost connection no longer posts your message twice
• Long voice notes stop on their own instead of failing when they upload
Also in this update:
• Changing your plan duration never changes the goal weight you chose
• Logging exercise by text is smoother — we estimate with sensible assumptions you can adjust
• Nutrition labels are read as complete servings
• The camera no longer plays a shutter sound when your phone is silenced
• Your own profile photo stays private when your profile is private
• Design polish and bug fixes throughout
