It’s random words but they are very useful ones, and in the end it’s one word every day means 7 words a week, I think that’s really helpful if you want to develop your vocabulary.
Used to be 5 stars, now it’s just frustrating

I’ve used this app for a long time and loved the daily photocards. It was a great way to learn. Unfortunately, almost everything that made this app special is now behind a paywall or requires watching ads. Even the basic "Word of the Day" sometimes requires an ad to unlock. I understand developers need to make money, but locking the core features and visual aids that were once free makes the app feel like a chore rather than a learning tool. Sadly, I’ll be looking for an alternative.

It’s a great app with a lot of new words to learn everyday, it also provides pronunciation of words which is a kudos, it also have a word search puzzle section but the problem is that the words doesn’t appear, so it’s impossible to spot words, kindly fix this bug so we all can enjoy this app.Thank you 🙏

Also, the reason may be in the version of your phone. The application is constantly updated and may not be supported by the old version of your software. Please try to update your software and try to redownload 'Word of the Day' one more time. Don't worry, if you have a subscription you won't lose it. Your subscription will still be active and you will be able to reactivate it by choosing the Restore Purchases option on the Premium Screen. Everything should work as intended.
