This update: • 9 new countries & regions: Czechia, Portugal, Iceland, Greece, Hungary, Argentina (Level 1 & 2); Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco (Level 1) • Sharper world-map outlines for Macao, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican • Name language: with no name in your system language, English now comes before the local name • Photo cards: area names follow the same name-language setting • Search: Chinese and Japanese names for the new countries, and Chinese names for Singapore's areas • Finer region borders when zoomed out • Minor fixes

This update: • New: an optional street map under the tiles (layers button) — Apple Maps (light, dark, satellite or hybrid) or OpenStreetMap; see roads and towns while you mark areas; needs a connection • Adjust how strongly your marked areas are filled over the map • The base map replaces the route overlay • Minor refinements and fixes

This update: • New destination: Poland — 16 voivodeships (Level 1) and 380 counties (Level 2) • New Shop list: see every country's price and unlock status in one place (sidebar → Shop) • About page: link to our Threads account • Minor refinements

• Map camera adjustments: selecting a country or region frames its main landmass first; outlying islands or distant parts are included when selected. Rotating the screen preserves the current view. • Locate now uses Precise Location and centers on your actual position; a notice is shown when the position is outside the mapped areas. • The ink drop now lands at the tapped position. • Backup import now includes a read timeout guard; imports that would exceed the size limit are cancelled before writing, leaving existing records unchanged. • Other interface refinements and stability improvements.

New optional “ISO 3166-1” world map mode: 51 special administrative regions and overseas territories — Hong Kong, Guam, Bermuda and more — now appear and count separately on the world map, covering all 249 ISO 3166-1 countries and regions (plus Kosovo). Choose it on first launch or switch anytime in Settings; your marking records and purchases are never affected. Backup format upgraded to v3: new backups need this version or later to import. Plus interface text polish and stability improvements.

This update: • New destination: Finland — 19 regions (Level 1) and 308 municipalities (Level 2) • Search everywhere: find any country or area from any screen, now with Chinese and Japanese names for well-known cities (hiragana and katakana both work) • Name labels drawn on the map tiles — switch them off, pick the name language, or keep them out of photos • Google search link on area menus • Settings reorganised into tabs • Minor refinements

This update: • New destination: Switzerland — 26 cantons (Level 1) and 144 districts (Level 2) • New destination: Sweden — 21 counties (Level 1) and 290 municipalities (Level 2) • Minor refinements

This update: • Share photos include the route layer when visible, with the route name in the corner • The world map opens centred on your most-explored country • New Solo mode for Level 2: focus on a single region; list, progress and share card follow • Search recognises Traditional/Simplified Chinese and Japanese kanji variants • Minor refinements

This update: • New Solo mode: choose Explore Level 2 (Solo) from a Level 1's menu to focus on a single region — the map highlights it alone, and the list, progress and share card scope to it • Search now matches across Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Japanese kanji forms • The route layer switcher's arrows are now tappable — one step per tap • Backing out to the world map now frames the country you just left • Added Ap Lei Chau to the Hong Kong map; corrected Taiwan's Level 2 English names • Fixed share photos occasionally catching the route overlay and some layout overlaps, plus minor polish

New: a drawing aid. In Taiwan, the United States, Japan or Germany, tap the route icon to lay that country's long-distance routes over the map — high-speed rail, railway, motorway — so you can trace which districts you passed through.

New: three levels of marking. A place can now be "passed through", "visited", or "stayed". Passed-through places get a light shade on the map but don't count toward your completion or medals — so layovers and drive-throughs are recorded without inflating your travel score. All your existing check-ins are kept, and count as "visited".
