PeakTap
Travel
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
If you ever wondered what the mountains around you are called, this app is for you. It draws the panorama of the mountains around you and lets you click anywhere in the panorama. Then you can see where on a map this peak is. Or part of a mountain. Or plain.
You can also see the panorama from any point of the earth (except the poles) and explore what mountains you would see from there.
The goggles view shows the heading, distance, and height above sea of the chosen part of the panorama.
