Amazing app

This is a truly amazing app by the developers as it includes the references to the source information as well.
Answers are crafted from the source info and summarized very well. Each answer has a like/dislike button to give your feedback and help it improve the answers.
Great app to have during research or conference calls where you may need to look up info quickly.
There are some slight rough edges, but I am sure it will keep on learning and getting better.

RAD Blunder

We understand the Perplexity is not LLM Research or AGI research rather a RAD company, that uses other LLMs to augment the process of search, at the moment is the best for academia, and research which are proven scientifically, yet rather that one, there is no other need if these other models are not updated on time, and the selection of multiple is not a feature, causing dissonances during use, as I already use the CHATGPT Pro, and Perplexity was taken to replace the Gemini Advanced as they both have the same Gemini 2.5 Pro, but without the Deep Thinking, model, hence it is imperative that after sometime, it will fall behind advance because Google has many other Whisk, VEO, Notebook LLM, and more to supplement the same $10 price. Let us see where perplexity takes us. Because with reasoning like Deep Thinking with Deep Research, Perplexity’s search will be nothing in the future as a unique feature.

Perplexity has completely changed the way I do research. Whether it’s understanding clients, tracking industry trends, or digging deep into leads, it gives me insights I wouldn’t get from a traditional search engine. It’s my go-to for anything AI - fast, smart, and actually useful. They’ve redefined what ‘search’ means, and I can’t wait to see what their new browser, Comet, brings to the table.
