RTA launches it’s all new app, with an enhanced user interface design and new features that include:
1. New customized dashboard for different customer personas
2. Easy access to the most used services with one click
3. Customer experience improvements to the vehicle licensing, driver licensing, and parking services
4. Display expected occupancy for public parking spaces using artificial intelligence
5. New way to recharge nol cards using the NFC feature
6. Allow People of Determination and Senior Emaratis to apply for a parking permit and manage the active permits.

Parking transactions report issue

Unable to take an extract of my parking transactions for a specified period, the old app allowed us to specify a date range and would show you all the transactions within these dates where you can select which transactions you would like to select in the report.

It was an amazing functionality that supported all employees that claim back parking fees from their employers and would love to see a similar functionality in the new application. Hopefully the developers can come up with a fix soon.

Bad app and Bad Implementation Starategy

I was a big fan of the development and growth of RTA up until the last move they have done.
The launched Application is not ready to completely replace the counters in the RTA venues.
My application renewal is pending now more than 2 weeks, I was renewing my car in the last stage and the phone rang. The application that was in process hang and now I am stuck with for more than 2 weeks. I can’t drive my car and I can’t renew my car. Ridiculous strategy to first launch an app that isn’t ready and you made it worse by not allowing the counters in your venue to renew. I went there and the answer of the supervisor I cannot help you and there are 10s of cases coming to us everyday like you and he mentioned to me it is a disaster.
I created a case with RTA and now it has been 3 days and no one bothered to call. Shame on this management and the way they are dealing with consumers.

App crashes every time I try to pay for parking fee since past 1 week

The app crashes whenever i try to pay for parking. It’s been over 1 week that I’m facing this issue. I heard the same from another iphone user, while 2 of my friends using Samsung phones did not face this issue. Its sad that I’m unable to use my parking balance to pay for my parking fees, we need to ensure we have Nol card with sufficient balance or have sufficient balance on phone to send SMS.

Didn’t ever face issues with the app earlier and found it to be the most convenient way to pay for parking. Hope RTA identifies the issue and fixes this bug ASAP. I’m sure many other apple users are frustrated with this especially since we have a parking account with balance but unable to use it when we urgently need it.
