Worst shop & ship service ever! Use others, there are plenty!

I have been using shop & ship since many years now but off late, my usage has been more frequent and so has my disappointment. They lost a parcel of mine from the US and refunded the invoice value 2 weeks after constant chasing. Their international team also inputs the wrong order value into their records (my actual shipment values is 50 Euros but they put 200 Euros) and then they charge for customs and vat fees based on their inputted value vs the ACTUAL value. Also at times there have been problems with the weight where they’ve written and charged according to 2.5KG parcel weight but in actuality it’s 1.9KG. Beware, once they’ve made a mistake they don’t rectify it and put your parcel away until you’re forced to pay charges based on the values they put on their records and not actuals. I had ordered multiple shipments through shop and ship and have had back to back problems. I won’t be using this service again and felt obliged to warn others of this service too!

The WORST Service ever!!!

There are 4 shipments that are just sitting at the delivery facility and NOT out for delivery... (some of them arrived on the 10th of May) We’ve been following up since the 15th - after the Eid holiday, still NOT out for delivery and today is the 19th already. We followed up via the hotline as well as emails. How many follow up messages am I supposed to send before we receive our shipments? (I’ve spent 50Aed on calls so far for these shipments). I don’t think this is the right way for your customer to receive their shipments by following up on a daily basis. I also find it infuriating that your customer service agents close cases without a proper resolution. Every time you send a generic response with a note that the case has been closed. Overall, we are so tired of this poor service! And will not use it again!

Their okay on their best day

Before the coronavirus pandemic their service was great and I was a BIG supporter and user of this service. However recently shipments have either been delayed, lost or just barred from being shipped. They lost one package and had the audacity to tell me that it was never delivered while a second package which is was a cheap and simple normal gold necklace was held up due to being a “prohibited” item. When questioned about the reasoning 4 times in a row and trying to get a clearer explanation as to why I got the generic response it’s been marked prohibited. Finally on the 5th try they were convinced and are now sending it through.

If you have alternatives might want to consider them otherwise this service works but will take a bit longer these days
