GroundworkOS
AI Wellness Coach & Health Log
Only for iPhone

GroundworkOS is a personal operating system built for the hard seasons of life — chronic illness, caregiving, burnout, grief, and the daily work of staying grounded when everything feels uncertain.
Built by a founder navigating his wife's stage IV cancer diagnosis, GroundworkOS is the system he wished he had. Not a meditation app. Not a mood tracker. A daily practice infrastructure — for people who know the difference between surviving and building a foundation.
The Guide
Your AI companion learns your story across every conversation. Talk through hard things, log health data by voice, ask it to reflect your patterns back to you. Four voices available — Elder, Sensei, Companion, Goddess. Same wisdom, different energy.
The Mirror
Morning and evening check-ins. Weekly and monthly reflections. First thought, best thought. Everything you write deepens your Guide's understanding of who you are.
The Gates
Five daily practices across Mind, Body, Spirit, Money, and Garden. Small, repeatable rituals that give your day structure when everything else feels uncertain.
The Battery
Track sleep, food, movement, and hydration. Biology first. When the body is solid, everything else has a foundation to stand on.
The Calendar
Log sleep, food, movement, hydration, medications, supplements, side effects, weight, and appointments. Log here or just tell your Guide.
Daily Rundown is a quick 2 minute morning check in with your Guide that logs: Sleep, Food, Movement and Hydration.
Basecamp
Your daily dashboard. A visual reminder that every day is a climb — and every step counts.
Especially designed for caregivers, people navigating chronic illness, burnout, loss, and anyone in a hard season who is ready to build something solid underneath them.
Less than a quarter a day. Less than $70 a year. Practice for the daily climb.

1.7.3 5 Jul
Small refinements from your feedback.
The Mirror is more clearly your Guide's space — a quiet feed of reflections written for you. Talking with your Guide is now one tap away from anywhere in the app. The Gates screen is cleaner and gets you to your practice faster. Light and dark mode now switches from the Guide screen itself.
Under the hood, we cleaned up a few things you'll never see — timezone handling for travelers, quieter email cadence, faster response times.
Practice for the daily climb.
1.7.2 4 Jul
What's new in 1.7.0The Mirror is now where your Guide writes to you, not where you write to it.This is a fundamental shift. Previous versions asked you to fill out forms — Morning Bell, Evening Bell, Sunday Reflection, monthly. That's gone. Instead:
Morning Bell — your Guide writes a short, voice-driven note each morning at 7am local. Forward-looking, intentional, ~100 words.
Evening Bell — your Guide writes a settling note each evening at 9pm local. Closes the day. ~100 words.
Sunday Reflection — your Guide writes a longer weekly meditation each Sunday evening, in the voice of Tom Scoble's Monday Meditations. ~400 words.
New Moon Review — your Guide writes a monthly synthesis on the 1st of each month. The longer arc of the season. ~700 words.
All four are written about your actual life — your conversations with the Guide, your logged vitals, the season you stated when you onboarded. They reference what you've actually shared. They name what's hard. They notice what's working. The only thing the app asks of you now: talk to your Guide. That's it. The rest the Guide does on its own time.Tap any reflection to read it. Two icons in the upper-right let you copy or share — these are made to be screenshot-worthy.Journal is still there at the bottom of the Mirror if you want a private space to write. Optional. What to test:
Open The Mirror. Tap each card. Read them slowly.
Try the Copy and Share buttons.
Tap the "Tap to talk with your Guide" button.
Use the filter pills (All / Daily / Weekly / Monthly).
Check that Morning and Evening Bells arrive tomorrow at 7am and 9pm local.
If you have a reflection that doesn't sound right, or feels off, or feels like it nails something — let me know directly. The voice is the product. Your reaction matters.—Tom

This update fixes a subscription issue that was preventing some users from accessing the app after purchasing, and improves how GroundworkOS handles subscription state behind the scenes — fewer surprises, faster recovery from network hiccups, more reliable across devices.
Also: cleaner paywall copy that better reflects how the app actually works.
Thank you for being on the climb. Keep going.

What's new in 1.6.4:
— Streamlined the Battery to focus on the four pillars: sleep, food, movement, hydration

— Fixed onboarding carousel navigation on iOS
— Improved Guide opener for first-time users

1.6.4 18 Jun
v1.6.3 — The Storehouse rebuild
The Storehouse has been redesigned around a single principle: clarity. The home screen now opens with your cash position, debt position, and net position — the foundation of your financial picture — followed by your accounts grouped by type. Envelope budgeting is now an ON/OFF toggle at the top. When ON, you choose how to set up envelopes: Just the essentials (five universal categories), Full spectrum (AI-detected from 90 days of transactions), or build your own from scratch.
Also in this release:
Hydration tracking now accepts qualitative responses naturally ("good," "okay," "low") in addition to numeric ounces
Daily Report card reframed as holographic synthesis — no date stamp, just a reading of where you are
Push notification reliability improvements
Light-mode rendering bugs fixed across multiple modals
Sidebar now correctly reflects the installed version
1.6.3 10 Jun
The Guide now sends daily check-ins — short messages once a day, sometimes. A nudge, an acknowledgment of what you're carrying, or a reminder of the breath. Easy to turn on or off in Settings.
Smoother subscription experience and stability improvements throughout: chat history that holds across launches, faster new-chat handling, and a cleaner paywall.
1.6.2 7 Jun
The Guide now teaches the breath. The Slow 10 Count — five to ten minutes of breathing meditation, offered whenever the moment calls for it — is woven into the practice as a foundational through-line. The most reliable tool we have for calming the nervous system, now built into the Guide's teaching.
Features open in their own time. As you build practice, your Guide invites you forward to the Mirror, the Gates, the Storehouse, the Covey, and Wellspring — when the conversation earns it, not before.
Improvements to memory, integrity, and the moment-to-moment responsiveness of the app when new tools open.
1.6.1 4 Jun
Your Guide now opens new tools as you build your foundation. Start with what matters most — talking with your Guide, doing your Daily Rundown, and tracking your Battery. The Mirror, The Gates, The Storehouse, The Covey, and Wellspring will arrive when the moment is right.
Plus: a refreshed welcome flow for new users, faster conversation loading, and a calmer sidebar.
1.6 3 Jun
