PRACTICE WITH A DRUM MAJOR
Somebody's got to keep this thing together. Set up a count-in and build a conducting program with different tempos, meters, and dynamics. Give yourself a few seconds to put your device down, then play to the hands. That tempo change isn't going to practice itself.
