See Monthly and Lifetime names, prices and billing terms before choosing. Preview sample route cards and coordinate formats before upgrading. Samples are read-only. Coordinate and voice explanations match the chosen feature; Korean wording corrected. Existing Lifetime purchases and saved records stay intact.

Manage Pro from Help: view your saved plan, restore purchases and open store subscription settings. Existing subscribers can choose Lifetime; cancel subscriptions separately in your app store. Clearer report-draft and incident-log descriptions. Existing Lifetime access and saved records are preserved.

The app now supports Danish, Croatian, Indonesian, Norwegian Bokmål, Slovak, Swedish, Thai and Vietnamese. Translated report fields and screen-reader labels. Official ICS 214 export labels stay in English. Existing Lifetime Pro purchases and saved records remain in place. Translations are bundled on your device.

Lifetime Pro is permanent: pay once and keep every future Red Grid MGRS Pro feature and update, with no subscription or repurchase. Existing Lifetime purchases are protected too. Terms of Use and Privacy Policy links now appear on the paywall and in Help. Improved purchase restoration and recovery when opening or returning to the app. Offline or incomplete store checks preserve saved access from an existing Lifetime purchase. Valid refunds and subscription expiry still apply. Pending-payment notices no longer repeat for the same purchase attempt.

Incident workspace: keep a local incident log with operational period, resources and timed activities. Corrections stay in history with event time, entry time and location source. Review the draft, then share an unsigned ICS 214 PDF or text, or a JSON backup you can import again. Report drafts now save on this device and survive restarts. Pro is required to create or edit incidents; saved records remain readable and exportable. No tracking or network added.

Write a review and share Red Grid directly from Help. Optional store review requests follow completed tasks and quiet pauses. Clearer Help actions at large text sizes. The separate 7-day Pro gift remains available. No tracking or analytics added.

Share and import field packs: save a route as a small file and hand it to a teammate, who imports it as a new list with its checkpoints and map reference. Check offline map coverage for the whole route, leg by leg, before departure. GRID and MAP use the available space: wide windows show the readout beside the map, and the map keeps its viewport and selection across tab changes. Large text keeps every control reachable. Route Card translated in all languages.

Locked LISTS, COORDS and MESH tabs now explain what each tab does and what Free already includes before offering Pro. Map import and locked-tab prompts use translated feature names, and the Pro feature list is now localized in every language.

Visible map attribution for online layers, with a tap-through to the licence page. The Dark online layer is no longer offered because its provider now requires an API key. Preflight reports battery as unknown instead of an inconsistent reading on unsupported devices.

Saved route plans, point ordering and route cards. Report and tool drafts persist across tabs. Pinned dead-reckoning origins, saved estimates and explicit photo annotations. Improved save recovery, numeric inputs and display controls. Corrected resection, north references, stale-position handling, imported-map checks and Pro restoration.

Updated field display with Tactical brightness and blackout controls. Saved routes now continue through readiness checks, navigation and local session review. Import supported local MBTiles maps for offline use. Improved coordinate calculations and location permission handling.

Team traffic over Meshtastic is now sealed end to end. Create a team key, read the pairing code to your team, and everyone on it shares the same net. Pro. The Declination tool now shows the grid scale factor where you stand, so you know how much ground you really cover per 1000 m measured off the grid. Dead reckoning and elevation distances now use ellipsoidal WGS84 math, so long legs stay accurate. Distress signalling is now described accurately: a full screen SOS strobe with the ground to air signal reference. Plus purchase reliability fixes. Everything still works offline. No accounts, no tracking.

Traditional Chinese now displays correctly on devices set to Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau. Gift links from redgridtactical.com now open directly in the app. Purchases that finish outside checkout, such as family approvals and promo codes, now unlock Pro reliably. Thank you to everyone who wrote in.

Upgrading to Red Grid Pro works again. The purchase flow has been restored and is fully active. If an upgrade failed for you recently, please try again. It will go through now. Apologies for the inconvenience, and thank you to everyone who reported it.

LIFETIME LEADS The upgrade screen now opens on the lifetime option. One payment, every Pro feature, no subscription and no renewal. The monthly plan is still there if you prefer it. Red Grid Pro now costs the same on iPhone and Android.

THE SURVIVAL UPDATE TRUE GRID NORTH Your compass, true north, and the grid north printed on your map are three different directions. Red Grid now computes the G-M angle at your position and converts between all three, per FM 3-25.26. Distance and bearing are solved on the WGS84 ellipsoid instead of a sphere. STORM WARNING Reads your device barometer on board and warns you when pressure is falling fast. Altitude corrected, so a climb is not mistaken for a front. Pro. DISTRESS SIGNALLING SOS, Morse, and the standard ground-to-air pattern on screen and flashlight, with battery aware timing. Free for everyone. ENCRYPTED TEAM MAP See your team on the same offline map and trade short tactical messages over Meshtastic, sealed end to end. Pair by QR code. Keys never leave your devices. No server, no accounts. Pro. Still zero network, zero tracking, zero accounts.

Fixes a display problem on Android 15 and 16 where parts of the screen could sit under the status bar or gesture bar. Updated for the latest Android requirements. Still fully offline. No accounts, no tracking.

More of the app now speaks all 16 supported languages, with clearer Pro pricing and stability refinements. Still fully offline. No accounts, no tracking.

ROUTE CARD: turn any waypoint list into a field-ready route card — every leg with bearing, distance, and grid — and share it as an image (Pro). Plus a clearer annual upgrade screen, more translated screens, and reliability fixes. Still offline-first — no accounts, no tracking.

See the full Pro loadout: the LISTS, COORDS, THEME, and MESH tabs are now visible to everyone, locked until Pro — and the 7-day free trial can be started right from any locked feature. Field reliability: smoother map tile checks at wide zoom, report grids are no longer overwritten by live GPS, smarter mesh reconnect, and in-app purchase fixes. Still offline-first — no accounts, no tracking.

Reliability and polish: a clearer 7-day free-trial upgrade screen and in-app purchase fixes. No privacy, network, or data changes — still offline-first, no accounts, no tracking.

v3.4.1 — Free Trial + Polish - NEW: 7-day free trial of Red Grid Pro on the annual plan. Unlock every tool, theme, offline AO package, Meshtastic mesh awareness, and 10-digit MGRS precision — then $29.99/year, cancel anytime. - Smoother in-app rating prompt on Android — it now appears at natural moments instead of at launch. - Minor reliability fixes. - No privacy, account, tracking, or telemetry changes. Red Grid MGRS still requires no account, runs offline-first, and only uses network for user-initiated tile downloads and platform-native purchases.

v3.4 — Mission Preflight - NEW: Mission Preflight panel on the Map tab. One-glance READY / CAUTION / NOT READY summary covering GPS source, Meshtastic radio, offline tile coverage, missing zooms, permissions, and battery/network hints — so you know your kit is field-ready before stepping off coverage. - NEW: Saved AO Packages. Save the current map viewport as a named bundle (map style + zoom set + tile count). Free tier: 1 saved AO. Pro: unlimited AOs with one-tap refresh and per-AO size estimate. - No privacy, account, tracking, or telemetry changes. Preflight runs on-device. Red Grid MGRS still requires no account, runs offline-first, and only uses network for user-initiated tile downloads and platform-native purchases.

v3.3.6 — Startup fix - Fixes a startup issue that could leave the app on a black screen for some users after the v3.3.5 update. The app now launches reliably on iOS 15 and later. - No privacy, network, or data changes. Red Grid MGRS still requires no account, runs offline-first, and never transmits your location.

v3.3.5 — Reliability + privacy - NEW: build a route on the map by tapping saved waypoints (Pro). See distance and estimated time per leg, plus an optimize button that reorders from your current location. - Mesh auto-share now actually broadcasts your position over LoRa. - External GPS receivers (Garmin GLO, Bad Elf, etc.) drive every screen, not just settings. - Map tile downloads use the current map style. First-launch attribution call removed to match the no-tracking policy.
