Know your fare before you request a taxi.
Hipo connects passengers with taxi drivers in Albania, wherever the service and drivers are available. Choose your pickup point and destination, check the route and fare, then send your request.
A FARE FOR YOUR ROUTE
See the fixed fare for your selected route before confirming. Add up to three stops while planning your request. Any eligible discount is shown before you request the ride.
YOUR TAXI ON THE MAP
Once a driver accepts, see their name, car and registration plate. Follow the taxi's location as it approaches and contact the assigned driver through the app. You can also choose to share a ride link with someone you trust.
PAY THE DRIVER
Choose cash or card via the driver's POS terminal when available. Payment takes place in the taxi. Hipo does not take or store your card details in the app.
PLAN AHEAD
Choose an available date and time for a later request. Scheduled requests depend on a driver accepting; they do not guarantee a taxi or an exact arrival time.
YOUR HIPO CARD
See your completed rides, stamps and the conditions of your next reward in Account. Personal invite offers and promo codes apply when available and eligible, under the conditions shown in the app.
FOR TAXI DRIVERS
Apply in the app and submit your documents for review. Approved drivers can go online, receive requests, see the expected net earnings before accepting and review completed rides and earnings.
Driver location is used in the background while online or completing an active ride, so passengers can follow their taxi. Passenger pickup location is used while the app is open; you can also select a point on the map.
Service coverage, driver availability and POS availability vary by area and time. A connection to the internet is required.

Drivers and passengers can propose a corrected pickup point and review it before both agree. Choose Hipo’s language inside the app without changing your phone’s language. More distinctive notification sounds and improved small-screen layouts.
