KSHL Markets Predictors sets a newspaper every day out of public event-forecast data. Not a dashboard, not a ticker — an issue with a masthead, five pages and an end, so you can read it, put it down and get on with your morning.
The editorial rule is simple: we print the move, not the level. A question sitting where it sat yesterday is not news. A question that shifted overnight is.
WHAT YOU GET
• The front page — the lead question of the day with the deck, the numbers and the story around it
• Movers — everything that shifted since yesterday's issue, sorted by how far it went
• Sections — the whole board by desk, so you can read one subject properly instead of scrolling all of them
• Diary — what is due to settle and when, laid out as a calendar rather than a list of alerts
• Archive — back issues and settled questions, searchable, so you can go and read what the paper said before the answer arrived
• Your columns — write your own piece on a question, give it a cover image, keep it filed on the page it belongs to
• Clippings — cut anything out of the issue and keep it in your own folder
• Desk file — everything you have written and clipped, in one place
• Find — search across stories, columns and clippings by word
• Reading, not skimming — swipe between the pages or jump by rubric from the rail under the masthead
The paper is set fresh each time you open it and it has an end. When you reach it, you are done.
Forecast data comes from a public event-market data source and is presented as information. There is no account, nothing is transacted, and nothing you write leaves the device.
