With new release, Where Are U app offers greater support to deaf people who, during the emergency phase, can indicate a specific level for the reason of the call. In addition, the section concerning the Demo, very useful tool in order to test the basic functions without calling the 112 Operations Center, has been entirely revised. The "Share" feature has been added and allows you to signal the use of the app to personal contacts through the most popular social networks.

Now Where Are U Allows you to chat with the 112 PSAP. Whenever you are not capable to speak, you can request a chat session with the operator, who will enable the message echange from the app. This function, orginally designed for unimpaired hearing citizens, is crucial in every situation when speaking is not possibile.

112 Where ARE U is the app that calls the European Emergency Number 112, where this service exists, automatically sending your location information and all the other information you included in the app. The European Emergency Number 112 was created to provide all european citizens with a single number for their emergencies: Ambulance, Firefighters, Police can be alerted by the same PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) and the service atuomatically locates you, for a rapid and accurate response.

NEW! Where Are U now implents “emergency silent calls” towards 112. This mode is studied for all situations when you are unable to speak, but require immediate assistance. By pushing the appropriate button (ambulance, fire, police) you will place a silent emergency call to 112 operators, who will initiate the proper procedures.
