Aidova is a free augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app that helps non-verbal and minimally verbal people be understood: children learning to communicate, and adults who have lost their speech.
Tap a picture and Aidova speaks it aloud. Tap several to build a sentence, then press Speak.
CHOOSE WHO IT IS FOR
The first time you open Aidova, choose:
• A child learning to communicate
• A teenager or adult learning to communicate
• An adult who has lost speech or needs care (after a stroke or brain injury, dementia, Parkinson's, MND, surgery, hospital or care home)
Each profile can have its own board and look, and you can change it any time.
FREE, FOREVER
• 140 everyday words with Aidova's own friendly pictures
• Care & health board for adults: comfort, pain, personal care, people and conversation ("I understand you", "Please say it again", "I can't find the word")
• Words tab (optional): core words such as I, go, like, not and it, always in the same place (12 free, 50 or 80 with Premium)
• How I feel today: a daily check-in with pictures (feeling, any pain, where it hurts), spoken as one sentence
• 1 medicine reminder with a spoken Taken / Snooze prompt and a log (more with Premium). Reminders only appear while Aidova is open on the screen
• Switch scanning for people who cannot tap: buttons light up row by row, choose with a tap anywhere, a keyboard or an accessibility switch
• Type to speak with word suggestions, and a choice of any voice on your device
• The whole app in Spanish, Hindi, German or French: buttons, boards, settings and guide
• My sentences: keep the sentences you say most often one tap away (3 free)
• Model mode: tap words as you say them, each button glows and speaks, then replay the sentence so your child learns where words are
• Backup & restore: save the whole board, voices and pictures to one file and restore it on a new device

Aidova is a communication tool, not a medical device. Medicine reminders only appear while the app is open; do not rely on them as the only reminder for essential medicines.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings.
