Aptly: Aptitude Test Trainer

Psychometric & Reasoning Prep

Free · In-App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

New: spaced review brings missed questions back after 1, 3 and 7 days, plus notes on any question. Every answer explained; timed SHL-style and placement mock tests. Practise for psychometric and aptitude tests with questions you can trust. Aptly covers numerical, verbal, logical, abstract, spatial, mechanical and diagrammatic reasoning, data interpretation and situational judgement, and every question comes with a step-by-step explanation and a time-saving shortcut. Ideal before a graduate scheme application, an assessment centre, a campus placement drive or a bank or civil service exam, and practice works offline with no account. EVERY ANSWER EXPLAINED Each question has a worked solution in numbered steps that shows the method, not just the answer, plus a shortcut for getting there faster against the clock and a formula card where one helps. Pick a wrong option and you see why, plus the common trap and a note on every option. If anything still looks wrong to you, report it straight from the question. Add your own note to any question and it shows under the explanation from then on, and in Saved. TIMED MOCK TESTS THAT FEEL LIKE THE REAL THING Pick an exam-style preset (SHL-style numerical, verbal and inductive reasoning, Graduate · CCAT-style, Bank / Placement, Civil Service-style or ASVAB / ADF-style military) or build your own mock with the sections, question count, time limit and negative marking you need. After every mock you see your score, an estimated percentile, a section-by-section breakdown and a full review with explanations. Then retry only the questions you got wrong. PLACEMENT AND BANK EXAM REASONING An India-style set covers blood relations, coding-decoding, direction sense, seating arrangement, Venn diagrams, clocks and calendars and data sufficiency. PRACTICE THAT FINDS YOUR WEAK SPOTS Untimed practice with instant feedback, by category and sub-topic. Questions new to you come first, then the ones you got wrong, and each run ends with your accuracy and pace, a sub-topic breakdown when it mixes topics, and a one-tap retry of the ones you missed. Spaced review brings every question you miss back after 1, 3 and 7 days, and Review now on Home runs the ones that are due. Over time, accuracy by category (tap one to see every sub-topic), your pace per question, your mock score trend, a weak-area heatmap and mastery badges show where to focus, and "See weak areas" opens your progress, where a card names your weakest sub-topic and starts a run on it. Mistakes are collected automatically, "Retry my mistakes" turns them into a practice run, and you can bookmark any question to revisit. The Practice tab's Your review strip keeps what is due, your mistakes, saved questions and notes together. A DAILY HABIT BEFORE TEST DAY A fresh Daily Challenge of 10 mixed questions and a streak, today's goal on Home, an optional reminder, a countdown to your test date and a readiness score that climbs as you improve. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE No account, no sign-up and no internet needed to practise. Your progress stays on your device. Ads never interrupt a question or a timed test; a hint video plays only if you choose to watch one. EVERYTHING INCLUDED, WITH AN OPTIONAL UPGRADE All 322 questions, every mock test, every explanation and all the analytics are open to everyone. Ads support the app. Aptly Pro is a one-time purchase that removes ads and the daily hint limit. It does not add or unlock questions, because nothing is locked. GOOD TO KNOW - 322 original questions in 64 sub-topics, plus 46 formula and tips cards - Abstract, spatial and chart questions are set out in words and tables, not drawn as pictures - Hints reveal the shortcut before you answer - An on-screen calculator for numerical questions, optional negative marking, light and dark themes - Interface in 16 languages; questions and explanations in English Aptly is not affiliated with or endorsed by SHL, Criteria Corp (CCAT), the US Department of Defense (ASVAB), the Australian Defence Force or any other test provider. Its questions are original, written in the formats these tests use.
