I bought this game because of Jack
I read the email written by the father of Jack, the eight year old autistic boy, who really enjoyed the game and whom the game helped both Jack and his family cope with Jack’s autism.
The letter prompted the developer to update the the game to make it playable again on newer versions of iOS. I figured that any company that would do that should be rewarded.
I’ve never played the game and I probably won’t for more than a minute or two, but I figured any company that would do what the developer has done should at least be rewarded, even if it is only a couple of bucks.
Good job.
No Man’s Sky Developers Come Through
I read an article that Joe Danger was created by the team that made No Man’s Sky, and that they brought this game back to help a child with autism, and this was the child’s favorite game.
It’s acts of kindness like this that separate any other game developer from truly selfless developers.
I also want to thank the developers for making this game premium and not freemium garbage.
Joe Danger plays well, it’s a fantastic game and I’m excited to keep playing it.

What a great story
Search for “Joe Danger updated” and you’ll find the story of Hello Games working on the update for Joe Danger after receiving a letter from a father whose son, Jack loved the game, but could no longer play it because it wouldn’t run on current iOS versions. The father writes that Jack has autism and the game helps me get through certain situations. Please read the letter as what I’m writing doesn’t do it any justice.
This is the type of developer I want to support. I haven’t played the game yet, but it looks great and I couldn’t help not buying it after hearing this story.
