Was running fine on my iMac Until I uppdated it to Sierra High.. Now the graphics are corrupt and all my settlements have a light like fog around them so I can’t see anything. I see others saying a similar problem with the new update has occured in the reviews. I would refrain buying the game until a fix is made for Sierra High. The game is really fun... when it works.

I used to spend hundreds of dollars and hours as a kid trying to collect and paint a Wood Elf miniature army and learn all the rules just to play a couple of battles where my brother would rage quit after the first attack. I always wished there was a computer game version of the Warhammer tabletop game, and now there is.I download this several years ago for an old Macbook Pro that I had at the time and it was fairly playable. Got the Wood Elf expansion of course and had lots of fun playing the campaign. Was dissapoionted I couldn't play with my friends bcause they had it on PC and they didn't make the multiplayer battle compatible or something.Fast forward a few years after I forgot about this game, and I just rediscovered it on my hard drive on a much newer and more powerful macbook pro. I was pleasantly surprised that it started right up and before I knew it I was fighting off hordes of beastman with my Waywatchers and Dryads.dSo why am I writing this review? Because there is no one online to play with and I'm hoping someone will get online soon. The ratings are so bad, and understandable since it seems like lots of people have had problems getting the game to run, but for me it's pretty much just worked and is a childhood dream come true given that it's so true to the source material but without all of the overhead of rules, physical miniatures, and set pieces.

It does not run smooth, but if you are willing to put up with that then you’ll have a great time! If a paid add on for Warhammer 2 was added this game would have 5 stars for me. It would also be nice if they supported some popular mods even if they were pay to use. This game can easily be a five with smoother running and a little more content support.

Before updating to high sierra(was running sierra) I could not run this game, far too laggy. After updating I ran the game and load times were faster and battles were not laggy and actually much faster than when I ran the game on windows through bootcamp. Unfortunately, the game is constantly crashing now and wasn’t doing this prior. Most likely it is a compatability issue with my machine, but it would be nice to this optimized better.
