More ways to share trail videos You can now post trail videos from Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or Vimeo - not just YouTube. Just paste a link, or upload a clip straight from your phone.

Added East England as a dedicated notification region, covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, and Essex. If you ride in East Anglia, update your region in Settings to get trail news and alerts tailored to your area. Also, some performance enhancements.

Removal of Strava syncing functionality from the App

You can now receive push notifications for Trail Talk Live - new trail news, updates, and highlights delivered straight to your device. Choose which regions you ride in so you only hear about what's relevant to you, with the option to receive everything nationally. Manage your notification preferences any time from Profile → Settings.

Bug fixes - profile pic and joiner points were missing on authentication now resolved.

Deep linking is here. Tap any ibikeride.com link, a trail, news article, event, or rider profile, and the app opens straight to that content. No more landing on the homepage and searching manually. Links work from messages, emails, social media, or straight from Safari. If you don't have the app yet, a banner on the website makes it easy to get it.

Implemented site-wide dark mode feature. By default, it will implement your phone's global settings. You can also switch between Dark and Light mode manually in the Homepage menu via the sandwich bar or in your Profile -> Settings tab. Also implemented the ability to manually thumb-scroll down on key pages, e.g. Homepage and Trail of the Year 2026 page, to refresh content in the app.

Introduces caching across all pages, so if you are out of coverage on the trails, you can still access and use the app. Also fixes a few bugs.

A major redesign - iBikeRide, rebuilt around discovery. A new way to find trails. The Trails service is rebuilt around three paired views - Map, Popular and A–Z - so you can browse however you like. The new Trail Map lets you pinch, pan and zoom to discover trails the way a rider would. Just added a new service called 'Trail Talk Live' which has daily rolling MTB news, events and more. Also updated the Trail Map with lots of new listings. Bug fixes include fixing skewed images in events. Some UI changes making it easier to toggle between ‘popular’ and ‘alphabetically’ listed trails.
