This is the ONLY one I know of that does not use the horrid swipe system and it is wonderful. You can pick who you want to message and there is no deck of cards or anything. Plenty of great people to meet as well. Wish they would expand into the US one day. How every dating site/app should be designed.

Scammers and glitches

Tip: Join only one month so you can see why it’s garbage. Don’t join more than that, it’s not a versatile app. The app glitches a lot, it is herkyjerky. Besides that, too many messages from outside of the country you’re in, and too many from their partner apps. It is an app where if you, surprise, pay extra you can message people in countries other than the version of Cupid you have. It’s very ridiculous, only makes sense that they are scammers, maybe flight attendants (yeah right), or “workers,” iykwim. Other than that, it is mostly unmonitored accounts and people with limited accounts that can’t message. Most messages ask for WhatsApp right away, lol, most likely scam or their account can only message once. Good luck.

Require private info - be careful

Owned by some random LLC in Australia. That alone doesn't bother me, but when they lock your account after 1 day of browsing the app, and they request a copy of your passport to continue using the app, that’s when I five this a hard pass. Do they ask all the ladies for copies of their passports? I doubt it… they don’t even require women to fill in all of the profile info, yet for men, who are the ones who pay to use the app, if you fill in ANY profile info you are required to complete it all. Yikes. Basically the company is harvesting your data to sell. No thanks.

This app is full of scammers. They pretend to be a person looking for a love in a relationship they will you with ideas of falling in love with you. Eventually, they get around talking about how successful they are and crypto or TikTok businesses or things related to online sales and then entice you with getting involved or investing. Others say they need money for utilities or something related to family and some pretend that they want to be your sugar mama. In less than a month, I’ve encountered all of these things multiple times. Don’t waste your money on this. It’s total garbage.
