AI at its worst
Amaretto234
I really wanted to like this app. I can tell that the material is good and that the lessons would be helpful. But the videos are pretty much all delivered by a dead-behind- the-eyes AI character who moves her hands at all the wrong times. It’s not only distracting— in a mental health context it also feels kind of alienating. I canceled my free trial after one day.
Developer Response
Hi Amaretto, we're reaching you again to let you know that things have changed quite a bit since your review! The AI presenter is gone — all our video content is now delivered by a real person, making the experience much warmer and more human. We've also grown a lot beyond that: new CBT-based programs, guided sessions, self-hypnosis, meditations, and a range of tools and self-assessment tests have all been added to the app.If you ever feel like giving MindDay another chance, we think it might feel like a very different experience now. 💙
False claims throughout UI
mindful_sarah
They say they have 2 million users, but it’s clearly like 2 users, they claim top minds work on the app but what does that mean for mental health. This app has no clear value for mental health and false claims and do not recommend it.
Developer Response
Hey Sarah, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback 🙏 We genuinely read every review, and we're sorry the app didn't meet your expectations. We do want to gently address a few points: MindDay has actually been live for over three years, with a community that has grown to 2 million users, mostly French-speaking, as our app was originally built for that audience. Our English version was released very recently, so we completely understand that it may feel new or unfamiliar to English-speaking users, and we know there's still work to do to make that experience feel as polished and valuable as possible. Our content is developed with licensed psychotherapists and psychiatrists. It is also grounded in CBT and evidence-based approaches. So the claims around expertise do reflect real partnerships, even if that's not immediately obvious from the app itself. We'd love the chance to understand what felt unclear or unhelpful for you specifically. If you're open to it, feel free to reach out to us directly at hello@mindday.com — your input genuinely helps us improve.
Super helpful

I only started a few weeks ago but I already feel the small exercices help me feel a lot better. The king of app that should be reimbursed by health insurances in the US!
We continuously improve MindDay for your mental well-being.
