Amazing, free (donationware), as seamless as Airdrop but works with Windows

Desktop I use has Windows 10 Pro and my phone is iPhone 14 Pro + I use it on iPad (Pro 11in 3rd gen), all 3 have their latest OS versions, and the app works so smoothly and is very fast. I always had problems setting up other apps/programs of this type, the apple stuff would never communicate with Windows or vice versa, but setting this up on Windows and phone+ipad took maybe 5 minutes. I was finally able to send a ton of photos for from my iPad to my desktop, thank you so much for making this! It works very very fast and I’ve never had issues with crashes on any of my devices although I’ve only been using it (a good bit) for about 2 weeks. Really appreciate that it’s free / donationware. Everything else is really really expensive and/or a subscription service, which is so absurd and unaffordable for the average user who doesn’t need to transfer files 5-days. Also, thank you x100 for the ability to just copy/paste text between devices. That is so wonderful that it nearly brings a tear to my eye. Great work, thank you !
LocalSend saved my sanity…

I’m constantly involved in activities that require the use of both my iPhone and my Windows PC, and being able to share the clipboard and files between both devices is a must for me. For months I settled with just using Notes and Files through iCloud web to copy paste what I needed, but this process was just way more tedious and annoying than it needed to be. Now, all I have to do is open LocalSend on both devices, and voila - my clipboard is shared easily and instantly. The app works with VPNs running on both devices as well (so long as local network sharing is enabled) which makes this app nearly perfect in my eyes. I would love to see some sort of widget that allows for even easier sharing between devices directly from my iPhone home screen, but that is by no means a necessity in my eyes. I rarely leave reviews but have been very pleased with this app over the last several months and wanted to give the developers their flowers. Keep up the fantastic work!
Issue with Local Files
Gamcrazy
Great app but I wanted to point out an annoying problem that’s probably an easy fix. When I receive files the app places them in a “/var/mobile/…” folder. I can copy them to my local Files but they stay in this folder. There seems to be no way to delete them even from iTunes as this is a system folder. Even if you delete their history in the app they stay in that folder (you can see them in iTunes File Sharing). I see no path setting or clear button button of any kind in the app. The only way I’m aware you can delete them is by uninstalling…
🫡 this developer made a game called GeoWar. Try it.

This app is a godsend and I always feel the need to make that known for the few apps that respect their users in, today, the age of spyware. Being able to easily and securely send files locally is amazing. Because a “Secure Cloud Server” is an oxymoron.“The Cloud” aka SOMEONE ELSES COMPUTER, who for reasons unknown, wants to store vast amounts of other people’s personal data on their computer. This developer has also made a game many years ago called GeoWar, and it seems to follow the same privacy principles this app does. Which is rare for apps, but in my experience, UNHEARD OF for free mobile games. This app is very much under appreciated, but GeoWar is on a whole new level of inadequate community support. So I’ll say it again. Y’all should try GeoWar. It’s simple, fun, respects users, and deserves far more community support than it has gotten.
