Could be organized better
The day before I was to start, I looked at the recipes to see if I could print them so I could do some batch cooking. Nope. Not an option. I can’t be in the kitchen preparing each meal since I work. And to open a recipe for lunch, only to find out that you need a cooked potato or cooked quinoa first, well, thats stupid. It didn’t mention in the grocery list that I need to have the items cooked before starting. I found that I had to sit down and write out all the days meals for the week so that I could batch cook what I needed in order to fit in the time. If I was a stay at home worker or mom, it would be easy enough to spend time in the kitchen preparing each meal as I would consume it, but that isn’t reality for most of us. They need to add a section of “meal prep” to do on a Sunday before we start the recipes. I also would like the ability to change the servings. I’m doing this for myself and yet, most recipes serve 4 or 5. Doing this would stock me up with so many leftovers, that I’d GAIN weight from having to eat them all myself. A simple serving option of 1 or 2 would be better.
This morning every recipe I tapped on for directions was jumpy and flashed only for a second before going blank. The recipes look pretty easy with ingredients I can easily find locally and where I live there aren’t a lot of good options. I think it would be great if the directions didn’t include large pictures that take up a lot of room. Nobody needs the pictures on how to cook unless they can’t read. Otherwise, make the pictures smaller.
Doctor recommended but so far not impressed
My doctor recommended me to get this app because he told me I needed to lose weight and try a vegan lifestyle so I was interested in trying this app I downloaded it once I clicked on the grocery list got interrupted so I shut it off came back opened the app to find a blank white screen and it would not leave the screen nothing would change tried closing the app and restarting the app and nothing it just kept going to the blank white screen uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app clicked on the grocery list again i set my phone down for a few minutes came back opened it up and again same white screen tried closing the app and restarting the app still nothing so I am not impressed with your app at all and I was really looking forward to getting some new recipes and finding better ways to eat to help me lose weight but you guys need to fix something not impressed I will be looking for different food apps
