Big help for quick translations while workin on iPad
Emanaku
I use LEO's website on the computer, and this app, whenever I work with translations on an iPad. I like the quick and profound results when searching for translations in english, spanish and/or german.I do not like, that the app looses it's focus on the line, where you enter the text (the web page keeps the focus in a really good way, so you can just start typing when you return to the webpage again and again). Is it not possible to implement that here with the app, too? Right now, after changing to the app first you have to tap into the entry field. That surely can be made better.Thank you!
Great App! Room for improvement.

Leo’s website is an amazing tool for German learners. It has an excellent dictionary and a super helpful Trainer tool that lets you efficiently record and classify each word you look up, and then practice these words with different exercise methods. The app is also great! But it doesn’t have all the exercise methods of the Trainer that the website has. Please improve the app to make it even more helpful! Right now the app’s Trainer has only the flashcard and drag-and-drop features. It would be an app that I would recommend to everyone if it had all the other Trainer features that the website has.
Very useful app, not too glitchy.

I was using LEO online and had no idea there was an app. So glad I found it. It's simple to use, has lots of the languages I need a quick translation check in (DE, FR, ENG). I like the examples and links to similar words. It really helps both confirm the definition of the word I was checking and learn new words or grammar at the same time. Sure the app is imperfect- they all are- but it doesn't flood you with annoying ads or make you watch stupid videos. It just does what it says it will. And I appreciate that. A lot.
Go-to App For German Language
JCSmedley
I‘m studying in a University in Germany and part of that includes learning advanced German. The best thing about LEO is that it gives you many possible meanings of words, not just the most common usage. For the quality of the content, they certainly deserve to be supported by the small annual subscription amount which you can decide whether to pay or not. They don’t cripple the app if you don’t subscribe like many other language apps. While it’s true you can use their website on a smartphone, the app interface is much easier to navigate.
This update includes bug fixes and improvements.
