Great place to meet new and interesting people from all over the world! You can make fans but even more, you can make life long friends! Obviously be discerning when you make friends and decide to eventually meet up. I have met several prominent names (in my opinion) from YouNow and it was a great experience. As a creator I have to say YouNow supports the partners. They are very pro active when it comes to promoting an event and getting the rest of the community involved. The contests are pretty cool and partners are able to hook fans up with subscriptions so they can see what it’s like to have exclusive content along with the partners brand in sticker form. Not only that but for me, being a rapper, jeweler, film maker, YouNow has always backed me and supported my own community #DeezyTribe and for that I have to say I’m pretty great full for real!

I’ve gone live on this app several years ago and recently got back into it. I love this app you can meet really cool people but there are just a couple things I would like to make you aware of. First thing I really wish I could use my back camera whilst live-streaming. I am only able to use my front camera and I can’t zoom in or anything. I really want to see the ability to switch & use a phones back camera to livestream as it would make my life so much easier. The second is I wish the chat was monitored a little more. I got this a lot when I was younger but even now there are a lot of creeps who get really weird in the chat as well as guys who will trick someone into guesting them but then reveal themselves inappropriately or naked. As of right now the only thing you can really do is block or report the person (which doesn’t seem to help), however if I were in charge of making these changes, I would make certain keywords highlight an account & put them on a three-strike probation. I also feel that the problem accounts’ emails/numbers could be banned from creating new accounts if they continue. I feel that this could help the app be safer and less 18+. Thank you for your time, I hope to see these improvements in the future.

This app is manipulative. Came into the app and came across a broadcaster named #MattInTheHat. Fell in love with his broadcasts and every night I looked forward to his broadcast. There are also others who same as me go to his broadcast just to end out nights a little better then what it was. He legitimately cared for his fans. Knew all of us my names and even remembered story from just typing them to him in the chats! He guested and made a lot of new friends. Yes his content wasn’t the “cleanest” but we asked of him to get a second chance and now there is a lot of us who lost the only thing that made us come to younow and the only thing that kept us on younow. It’s sad to say it but people have become depending on talking to him. And he would talk and comment back to EVERYONES comments. I’m very upset in younow for not believing in second chances. Letting people find that outlet to get away from life for a bit and talk to someone who clearly is easy to talk to considering your only screens apart , letting people have that as a source of serenity in their lives just to take it from them. I don’t mean to attack younow. Matt isn’t innocent be he also shouldn’t be taken away and banned. Even god forgives. Just wish younow would think of the viewers the have watching these broadcasts and not only the money us as fans spend on “bars” and by which Matt has definitely earned you guys money for sure from us fans. Thank you for not listening to what the people, who downloads your apps and spends money on it, wants. It’s truly shows.

I discovered younow shortly after the blogTV service was purchased so I have been very active and use the platform on a daily basis. The staff is pretty intelligent and quick to handle problems there’s always going to be glitches here and there but they’re not that detrimental. I like that the CEO interacts with the users as well to get real time feedback. I feel that you know is family friendly and a good safe place most of the time for people of all ages to collaborate together but there have been issues that I have become aware of lately where you have older men talking to much much younger women below the age of 16 and with making reports I would never get it resolved which is the reason for only four stars. All in all I think this platform has the ability to scale quite massively I could make people a few dollars on the side if that’s your thing. You know it’s such an instrumental tool for life I almost forgot to add this part to my review but I did in fact meet my wife on YouNow almost 4 years ago and we’re happily married now and we have a 14-month-old son all thanks to this wonderful creation of you now.
