Bug Fixes Calendar payment accuracy – Fixed a critical bug where the calendar didn't correctly calculate recurring payments based on your next payment date and frequency settings. Payments now show up on exactly the right days, including proper handling of month-end dates (e.g. Jan 31 → Feb 28). Edit from calendar – Tap any expense or saving directly in the calendar view to open the editing view. No more switching tabs just to make a quick change! Day view – Tap on any day in the calendar to see all payments due on that specific date. If there are no payments scheduled, you'll see a friendly "No payments for this day defined" message. New Features Monthly Cost Overview – New "Monthly Cost" button in the calendar tab! Backup & Restore Your data is now protected with built-in backups: Automatic weekly backups — the app creates a backup every 7 days on launch, keeping the most recent 6 (older ones are removed automatically). Manual backups — create a snapshot anytime from Settings → Backup & Restore. Export — save any backup externally (Files, iCloud, email, AirDrop) using the share button. Restore — roll back to any stored backup or import a previously exported .4budget file. A confirmation prompt protects against accidental overwrites. Each backup captures everything: expenses, categories, income, currency, and theme settings. Sort Expenses by Frequency The Expenses tab now has a "Frequency" sort option — quickly group monthly, quarterly, and yearly expenses together. Bug Fixes Amount Fields — Cursor No Longer Jumps Typing amounts in income, add expense, and edit expense fields now works smoothly. The cursor stays where you type instead of snapping to the end after every character. Save Buttons Work Reliably Fixed an issue where saving income or expenses could silently fail — the entered value was not committed until the field lost focus, so tapping Save immediately would keep the old value. Values now update in real time as you type. Savings / Expenses Sheet Opens Correctly Tapping the Savings card no longer sometimes opens "Configure Expenses" (and vice versa). Replaced the dual-state sheet logic with a single reliable pattern that eliminates the race condition entirely.
