PaddlePal now announces your split times out loud during paddles on iPhone and Apple Watch. Splits are recorded for every workout, not just races, and appear as markers along your route. Charts in Insights, Atlas weather, and workout details can now be opened full-screen, with interactive scrubbing to inspect your data more easily. Workout details and the Logbook have been refreshed and reorganized so your most useful stats are easier to find. Maps, route drawing, photo loading, live tracking, and heading updates are now smoother and more responsive, especially on longer workouts. This update also includes collapsible split tables, improved Apple Health route syncing, updated privacy and terms links, better accessibility support, and fixes for filters, tides, weather icons, chart rotation, iCloud photos, localization, and minor crashes.

PaddlePal now brings forecasts to life with live weather backgrounds, featuring animated rain, drizzle, sleet, and lightning. We've added a new metric switcher, making it easier to explore wind, rain, pressure, visibility, and more from each weather card. Workout saving is improved with a new confirmation before discarding a session, helping prevent accidental loss. Charts across workouts, insights, tides, wind, heart rate zones, and precipitation have been refreshed for a cleaner, faster, more consistent experience. This update also includes faster launch times, better Apple Watch workout reliability, improved accessibility, more translations, and a wide range of fixes for notifications, widgets, maps, sign-in, iCloud recovery, and battery usage.

New Features Focus Mode integration — PaddlePal can now detect when your iPhone's Focus Mode is active, and you can enable automatic Focus tracking during workouts from Settings. Automatic water lock on Apple Watch — Water lock now turns on automatically 15 seconds after starting a workout, so you no longer need to remember to enable it manually. Workout route recovery — If the app crashes during a workout, your GPS route data is now preserved and restored when you reopen the app, so you won't lose your paddle trail. Improvements - Workout pause and resume from the Apple Watch side button and Digital Crown now works more reliably. - Removed the "iPhone Connected" indicator from the Watch app for a cleaner workout screen. Bug Fixes - Fixed a bug where the Apple Watch would show the home screen instead of your active workout after a crash recovery — it now resumes directly to the workout view. - Fixed equipment add and edit sheets appearing too small on iPad. - Fixed community route preview sheets appearing too small on iPad. - Fixed workout detail sheets appearing too small on iPad. - Fixed the workout summary screen not resetting properly when dismissed on the Apple Watch.
