Free live dashboard for your Powerwall. Automate it against your utility's rate plan to cut demand charges and time-of-use costs. Connect in under 5 minutes.
Your Powerwall makes generic decisions with your money. Grid Getter makes specific ones.
Connect in under 5 minutes, set your targets, and let Grid Getter dispatch your battery against your actual rate plan, every 60 seconds. Built by a Powerwall owner who got tired of watching the meter.
BEAT DEMAND CHARGES
One 30-minute spike can set your entire bill. DemandGuard watches every interval, aligned to your utility's billing window, and covers the peak with your battery. Subscribers averaged $64 in demand savings in August 2026.
RULES, NOT MODES
The Tesla app gives you modes. Grid Getter gives you rules. Unlimited automations, evaluated every 60 seconds, built from your logic instead of presets. You'll never maintain the script.
KEEP YOUR SUNSHINE ON YOUR METER
Your solar shouldn't leave at wholesale and come back at retail. Solar Self-Use keeps your generation on your side of the meter, up to 92% self-consumption.
CHARGE WHEN IT'S CHEAP. USE WHEN IT'S NOT.
TOU Optimizer charges the battery in cheap windows and spends it in expensive ones. Automatically.
SEE WHERE EVERY WATT GOES
The free live dashboard samples your system every 60 seconds. Start there; your own data will make the case.
WORKS WITH
Tesla Powerwall 2, Powerwall+, and Powerwall 3.

App was purchased on a 1 year plan to manage powerwall 2 peak/off peak configuration. It worked correctly less than 50% of the time due to constantly dropping Tesla connections. Following all their guidance to resolve this made no difference. The Gridgetter app would say it can’t connect to Tesla servers but the official Tesla app connected fine.
Developer Response
Thanks for the feedback, Darrell. You're right that the app was pushing you to reconnect to Tesla far more than it should have. We tracked it down to a bug in how we checked your Tesla connection (it misread Tesla's normal token renewal as a dropout) and the fix is on its way out. Your automations were running through most of it, and I'd like to make the rest right. I sent you an email, and I'll be happy to take care of this personally.
Bug fixes and improvements. Your Powerwall didn't notice, but your bill will thank you.
