Split a Trip • Open a trip, tap Split Trip, then tap the route or drag the slider to place a split point. The preview shows exactly which trips you will end up with. • A trip recorded with gaps can be split at those breaks in one tap. • A trip you merged earlier can be split back apart at the joins. • Each new trip keeps its own distance, time and route. Up to 10 pieces at once. Merging Trips • Merge up to 10 trips at once, instead of two at a time. • The sheet now tells you why a selection cannot be merged, and warns you first when the trips started on different days or when some of them are excluded from your stats. Last Parked • A vehicle's profile now shows where its last recorded trip ended: the address, the time, and walking directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps. Tap the coordinates to copy them. • This is not live tracking and the card says so. The app only sees the car while a trip is recording. Vehicles • A 12 V charging check. Once there are enough OBD readings, the profile says whether the charging system reached a healthy peak with the engine running. • Export Vehicle Data, a new Shortcut that hands you a JSON file covering every vehicle, including everything recorded from an OBD II adapter. • Edits you had typed are no longer reset when you come back from the photo picker. Friends • Friends now has its own page in Settings, with your username, sign out and delete account in one place. • Turning Friends off gives the tab back to Statistics and takes your profile picture out of the toolbars. Nothing is deleted, and you can turn it back on any time. CarPlay • The Live Activity has a layout made for the dashboard: one large value, bigger type, and only the stats that fit. • Fixed a crash when opening a place from Saved Places, and a nearby search that finished late no longer pulls you off the screen you moved on to. Also in this release • Max G and hard braking could read absurdly high on a trip with a poor GPS fix. Both now come from the same calculation as the chart on the trip page. • The compass on the map sits at the top right, clear of the buttons that used to cover it. • Share cards can drop the app icon and name. Display & Recording > Sharing > App Branding. • A document left behind by a deleted vehicle now shows under Personal, so an expiry alert always has something to open. • Fixed crashes on importing a CSV with unusual numbers, and on a vehicle photo that had not finished downloading from iCloud. Friends • A new Friends tab. Add people you actually know and see everyone's distance, driving time and trips side by side. • Your routes and places are never uploaded. Only daily totals leave this phone, and you both have to accept before either of you sees anything. • Sign in with Apple, pick a username, and add friends by their username or by sending them your link. • Boards cover today, this week, all time, or any custom month, year or stretch of days you pick. Speed is never ranked or compared on any board. • Open a friend for their totals, their longest and average trips, and a chart of their driving day by day, week by week or month by month. Give them a nickname if you want. • Pause sharing whenever you like, block or report someone, or leave and have your profile and everything you published deleted. • Two notifications only, both optional: when somebody adds you, and when somebody accepts. Daily Stats • Every route you drove that day now draws on one map, the way weeks and months already did. • Share a day as an image card, with the figures you want on it. Currency • The symbol can now sit before or after the amount, or follow your region. Settings > Units & Format > Currency > Symbol Position. Widgets and exported PDFs follow the same choice. Also in this release • Elapsed trip time on the gauge and in the Live Activity is labelled DURATION rather than TIME, which read as the clock. • A very long place name under your all time top speed now wraps instead of being cut off. • Switching tabs gives a small haptic tap. Route Replay • The readout now shows the time of day you were at that point on the route, not just how far into the replay you are. Switch from settings. • Tap the coordinates to copy them, or open that exact spot in Apple Maps or Google Maps. OBD • Ready-made battery PIDs for the Hyundai Kona Electric and Kia Niro EV: state of charge, state of health, pack voltage and current, power, cell voltages and pack temperatures, plus cabin and outside temperature. Add them under Custom PIDs > Add from Presets, with no formulas to type. Segments • Segment details now open in place instead of a sheet, and the share menu gains photo cards, stats cards, replay video and GPX export. Share your stats your way! • New period summary cards - turn your week, month, year, or custom date range into a beautiful shareable image. Pick from 5 layouts: Magazine, Grid, Dashboard, List, and Receipt. Toggle which stats appear, including active days, longest streak, peak hour, most active day, and comparisons vs. your previous period. • Export quality picker - choose Standard, High, or Maximum resolution when saving share images, so you can balance file size and detail. • Light Mode support in the trip share editor - the editor now matches your system appearance instead of forcing dark. • Vehicle delete is friendlier - when you remove a vehicle, its trips now show under "Default" instead of "Unknown Vehicle." Attached documents and reminders are cleaned up automatically. Delete now lives in the vehicle profile menu for easier access. • Scrollable fuel economy chart - vehicles with lots of fuel logs no longer squash into a tiny line. Track every receipt • Attach photos to fuel logs, maintenance logs, and expenses. Snap the pump display, the receipt, or a "before" shot of the part you replaced. Everything stays linked to the entry and syncs with iCloud. Smarter maintenance reminders • When you log a service, the odometer is now pre-filled from your last entry plus the distance from every trip recorded since. No more guessing or reading the dashboard. Cleaner entry sheets • Fuel, maintenance, and expense forms have been reorganized into clear sections with iconography, so logging takes fewer taps and less squinting. Compass upgrades • Show your live coordinates beneath the compass - latitude and longitude in the same degrees-minutes-seconds format as Apple's Compass app, plus your heading with cardinal direction.
