These currently include Y Termiadur Addysg, which contains standardized terminology for school-age education, and Geiriadur Termau'r Coleg Cymraeg, which focuses on terminology for Higher Education subjects. Additional dictionaries from the Porth Termau terminology portal can also be searched from within the app when online. Features include: easily search English or Welsh headwords show all entries for a given English or Welsh headword drill down feature to find related entries Welsh and English user interface languages, with the ability to change language in Settings. Ap Geiriaduron was developed by Bangor University's Language Technologies Unit, and the development of Y Termiadur Addysg is funded by the Welsh Government, whilst Geiriadur Termau'r Coleg Cymraeg is funded by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol. Looks pretty robust, but easy enough for this beginner

Using to parse Welsh phrases into component parts (which makes more sense to me than the see-and-say method used by Welsh language courses). How else would I know that the Welsh phrase for “please” (shortened from the English “if you please”) means pretty much “if you see fit”? Lots of examples drawn from current usage, which I would imagine makes this a more useful dictionary for daily life than standard dictionaries. I also have more confidence in it than I might have in others, given that it’s a product of Bangor University.

I was delighted to find this great resource. I opened the app and was asked if I wanted English or Welsh. Without thinking it through, I selected Welsh. When the app opened up in Welsh I realized I had set the interface language for Welsh. I have been studying Welsh (the most beautiful language ever) for quite a while, but not to where I could benefit from the Welsh interface. There was no way to re-set it. I have tried to unload the program and start over. It just reloads the same version from the cloud. I’ve looked for any way to start from the beginning, but cannot find a way to change the interface language. There should be some way to correct such a simple error. Help.
