There’s no avoiding email—as much as we might wish otherwise—but Spark makes tackling an unruly inbox a whole lot more pleasant. The app is an immediate joy to use, thanks to a painless setup process and a sharp, clean layout. But Spark’s true value comes from its clever interface, flexible customization, and the way it bubbles important emails to the top while filtering out the noise. Inbox intimidation is now a thing of the past.
Fabulous

This applications is fantastic. It is very consistent with the matching iPhone app. They do updates to the app very frequently (unlike some other apps that have bugs and they never fix them). It is fast, responsive, the user interface is easy. I love that the “pinned” emails are displayed four or so at a time(the last four pinned), with the ability to easily see them all by clicking on the top of the pinned bar. It is just a really usefule easy to use email app for people that depend on email, but aren’t heavily involved in their email like some business power users are (though i’m sure it is great for them too). Outlook is great, but there are so many features on outlook that most are not used and it just makes it over complicated and not streamlined. I feel that Spark is both streatmlined and designed for power-users. The simple design makes it easy to find what you need. Oh, and the iphone app that has the accompanying apple watch app refreshes well and frequently on the apple watch - that means that it is the total package: useful on the mac, iphone, and apple watch. They could do a little more work on making the email refresh more frequently on the Apple Watch. It would also be nice if they added swipe left on an email on the apple watch to delete it instead of having to open the email on the apple watch, scroll to the bottom, and press delete. But i’m sure they will read this and take that into consideration. Overall a fantasticly easy to use and smart-setup email app.
I love checking my email with Spark!

I have never enjoyed email as much as I do with Spark. It takes some time to get used to, at first, learning the keystrokes and archiving or marking all finished email chains as "done". Thanks to Spark and the smart filters, AI tech, and incredibly intuitive keystrokes, I rarely have more than 10 unread important emails in my inbox. The AI for detecting Newsletters and Promotions as well as Updates is very refined and I rarely have issues with Spark incorrectly identifying promotional emails or updates from various services I use. I've barely scratched the surface of all that Spark mail can do.My one and only complaint is the different applications/interfaces of Spark Mail for Windows and Spark 2.0 for Mac. I would like to see Spark 2.0 make it to Windows or at least for them to look the same and feel the same. Also, it is strange that the keystrokes need to be manually changed to get the two versions to match. Finally, Spark 2.0 integrates with most applications way better than Spark Desktop for Windows, I would like to see that fixed as well.Once again, I cannot recommend it enough, Spark is worth the download! Give it at least a couple weeks to a month to try it out, as it takes some time to get comfortable and clean up your inbox. Spark is at it's finest when you have been using it for enough time to get used to it, I will never go back to outlook again.

Best mail app available, minor suggestions

I use Spark both for business and personal email, and I love it. The Smart Inbox is huge, as are Smart Folders (not that these are unique to Spark, but well done here for sure) and the customization is great. I think Mac’s native Mail app is really solid, and Outlook is about the only product Microsoft has gotten right for Mac, and it’s really good, but Spark I think still has the edge over both. There are just a few minor changes that would make this a five star app. One, the spam feature doesn’t work as advertised. Their rational for not having a block sender option is because if something is marked as spam, Spark will recognize this and begin to automatically filter it to the spam folder. This has not happened for me, and I repeatedly get the same emails from senders I have marked as spam (and I’ve checked to make sure they aren’t just using a different email address with the same sender name, and that’s not the case). Two, when a calendar invite comes through for my Exchange (business) account, if I accept it directly through the Spark email notification, on my calendar it shows up as a duplicate, so I have the same event listed two side-by-side.Those are the two major things. I would love for Readle to come out with either a desktop version of their calendar app (which needs some improvements in iOS, too), or a robust calendar feature built into Spark, similar to Outlook. All this being said, again, Spark is, for me, the best mail client available, for desktop and iOS.
Greetings!
This is just a minor improvement release.
