So much better than the Apple Reminders app

I'm an Apple fan to the core, but the Microsoft To Do app simply outdoes Apple Reminders in almost every aspect of UI and UX. The only place where Reminders is better is the font size/type and readability. The font size/type in Microsoft To Do are just a little too small compared to the Reminders app.

But that's the only area where Microsoft To Do isn't better. The My Day functionality is so much better than any other To Do app's attempt...they're not even close. With this app you can "easily" move any task from any list to My Day with a single tap. In other list apps and To Do apps, it takes a combination of several things in a cluttered UX to do this. This is the absolute single best function of the app, though all the others are good, too.

I honestly would rather use Apple apps when possible, but sometimes you have to forget about who made an app and choose it for the usability. With Apple Reminders you can't even print out a list without doing a bunch of copy/paste actions. Another case of "Apple knows best" and if a millions users sent feedback on this (and they probably have) it still wouldn't be incorporated.

Good app, and free to boot

I should probably give this app five stars, just because it is pretty good, and it is completely free, but I feel like a little constructive criticism can help to improve the app, so I'll leave 1 empty star as a stretch goal for the developer. I have been using this app for 6-7 years, and I used Wunderlist before that for several years (which was aquired by Microsoft and replaced with this app, I believe). In all of that time, this app has always had bugs, but those bugs have usually been minor annoyances, and they do seem to eventually get fixed. The current batch of bugs that I have noticed is the following:
1. When adding items to "My Day", eventually I can't add anymore without leaving the "My Day" screen and coming back. Sometimes this is as few as four or five items.
2. If you click on an item in the My Day screen when the side bar is open to pick more items to add to My Day, the details for the item are displayed behind the My Day items, so it seems like clicking on an item doesn't work. This is more of a usability problem, which could be solved by dismissing the My Day items when the user taps on a item to see the item details. That way the details wouldn't be obscured.

There was a bug where tasks with steps that had been created on iOS wouldn't show all of the tasks when viewed on Mac. That bug seems to have been fixed, so great job!

So Frustrated with this App

I have been using To Do for years. I used it when it was Wunderlist WHICH I LOVED! I have had nothing but problems with To Do and nothing ever fixes the problems and despite many many wasted hours researching and uninstalling and reinstalling I never fix the problems so I am officially over To Do. First I pay for 365 Personal Subscription. To Do on my computer (Mac) will not let me do anything. It won't let me sign out, it won't let me add tasks, it won't let me uninstall and reinstall. Everytime I do it just takes me right back to my old account and doesn't let me do anything. FINE I will just use the account online. Oh, but then the problem is that the App on my phone with all of my updated tasks (because my computer app doesn't work) won't sync. It keeps saying it was synced on September 12 and when I resync it still says it. So I have two separate accounts that won't talk to each other and have to log onto the website to use it on my computer because the App won't work. I have Sonoma on my Mac fully updated, the latest iOS system update to 17, I have updated To Do, but NOTHING works ever. This has been going on by the way for years. I am officially fed up and just have to find some other option even though I PAY FOR THIS and can't get it to work. This is utterly ridiculous and I expect more from Microsoft. I am especially angry because I never had a single problem with Wunderlist and Microsoft ruined it.
