A lot of offices use this app to try and recruit temps for there office, and use this app as a work in interview a lot of offices watch you and see how you do things which can get overwhelming going to a new office every day. Kinda like you can feel there eyes down your throat. So over all gets overwhelming when you have to do this everyday. A lot of toxic offices use this app since it’s difficult to hire assistants because of there toxic environment. A lot of offices also have unrealistic expectations for a temp only helping out for a day. Expect you to take notes or even book appointments on there software that your using for only a day. Some offices will try and Hire you but once you’re interested and ask to just match the pay they are paying you on the app, it’s a problem. They still try to low ball you. The app is good if you like to choose when you want to work, but obviously the con is not knowing what you’re going to walk into. If you like living on the edge lol it’s for you. But it’s also good if you don’t want to be permanent at an office. It’s definitely nice not having to develop a relationship with people and leave and never have the see them again. The app is great when it comes to getting your pay stubs, there management team for the app are amazing and there super sweet and understanding. And always quick to help!!! It’s a great app over all and I prefer this app for dental assistants than any other.

This App has really saved my life! With me being 5 months pregnant also having 4 children already, GoTu has played a huge role in the reason I was able to slow down working when necessary. Being able to enjoy my pregnancy, yet most importantly having the option to be able to relax when I need it is crucial! For that I am forever grateful & will always recommend GoTu to anyone, anytime, anywhere! Basically it’s like you’re making your own schedule. And for me that has really been a gamer changer. I have found a favorite office which I love going to, as much as they have expressed their enjoyment of me coming into assist the office. In the mist of all the chaos 2025 has brung, the GoTu app has been that lil peace of mind & saving grace for me this year! Easy App - with 1 Glitch…

I am brand new to using the app as a temp RDH.Pros: Easy, Convenient and Accurate Rating of Offices (so far); Pay is quick and I love that I don’t have to worry about clocking in or out OR a paper time sheet.The Glitch:While your application isn’t approved by the office right away, there are offices who have postings and they do not respond at all. While I understand that an office has the right to refuse an application, it appears in this case, that an office may almost forget they have the posting because once the application expires - the same posting reappears as an open opportunity. It’s slightly annoying because you may want the location and even hold off on another job posting, only to never to receive a response. There should at least be a deny button for the office. I explained this dilemma to the very nice help desk twice. I don’t think this is a matter of an office simply denying the application, but more that they may have forgotten they posted the job. The only explanation I get is “an office has a set amount of time to respond, your profile is doing good, keep applying”…I don’t have that much time to waste, so I will have to use other temp platforms along with this one.

I genuinely like the GoTü platform. I live in western Missouri and it is primarily the app that has the most offers available. The app runs smooth, has an attractive and an easy enough UI. I like how easy it is to see open positions and how easy it is to apply. The “Badges” you earn for attendance and shifts completed are fun if you enjoy seeing little accomplishments. And I really love how easy it is to see the information provided by the office.But that’s the thing, there really isn’t enough information. I know GoTu’s thing is not seeing the office name, but I don’t know if that’s helpful or detrimental. Because even when I like an office I don’t know if I’m applying to that specific office or not. Or if I’m applying to one that I didn’t enjoy and rather not book there again. There is no option to “hide” them or “favorite” them as the personal employee side. If the software is “other”, it should allow the office to put in or they need to add all the dental software to the options for the offices to input.The worst thing is not being able to have a list of open temp shifts. Instead I have to scroll and scroll and scroll to through every day to see all the shifts.
