In this version, we have made it easier for new users to onboard, adding a step-by-step flow to get the most out of Yayzy. We have also listened to your feedback and added a bunch of performance improvements. And as usual, we keep improving our algorithm. You will find that our auto-categorisation has gotten more accurate, and that more retailers get emissions allocated. We truly hope this update will make it easier for you to take climate action. This new version includes a redesigned onboarding flow, which will let our new climate heroes to choose the level of personalisation and accuracy they want in calculating they carbon footprint, as well as some useful insights on how to reduce it. For our climate OGs, we have been improving the categorisation algorithm and added new merchants to our sustainability database, so we can give you a better footprint picture based on your purchases. Happy new year, Yayzyers! We would like to propose a new year’s resolution. An easy, but important one: to live more sustainably. And we begin 2022 more committed than ever to help you achieve it. In this update you will be able to personalise your footprint by indicating factors like your diet type or usual mode of transport, so any related transaction will be adjusted accordingly. Other improvements include: a new notification center, local country data for non-UK users, simplified Log in process, and improvements on our categorisation algorithm

With this update we make it easier for you to know more about what drives your emissions and to refine your footprint calculation: Head over to the Track screen, where you can now filter your transactions by “Green” (sustainable retailers or 0-emission transactions), uncategorised, offset, and pending offset We are constantly improving the categorisation algorithm, and you may now notice more transactions categorised and a more accurate footprint

Exciting news! We are upgrading the environmental science behind our carbon footprint calculation. We’ve collaborated with a leading environmental consultancy to produce a best-in-class model that will measure more accurately the carbon footprint of your purchases. With this upgrade you can expect some adjustments in your past carbon footprint calculations, and a much more accurate picture of your environmental impact. If you have any questions or would like to know more about our footprint calculation tech, please reach out through the app or our Slack channel.
