Ratings and Reviews
See AllRefreshing inspiration app!
As an interior architect, I’m constantly searching for inspiration, and Cosmos has made that process enjoyable again. Its simplicity and intuitive design allow me to focus on curating ideas without the clutter and distractions that other platforms often bring. I appreciate how seamless it is to save and organize imagery, making it a valuable tool for my work.
One of my favorite features is that profiles only display “Following” instead of “Followers.” This keeps the focus purely on inspiration rather than turning it into another social media platform. It creates a more thoughtful and personal experience, which I really appreciate.
That said, I’d love to see improvements in photo credits and source linkage—having better attribution would help designers like me dive deeper into materials, artists, and original contexts. Additionally, with the rapid rise of AI-generated content, newer platforms like Cosmos have an opportunity to set a standard by ensuring transparency in image uploads. A feature that differentiates AI-generated images from real-world photography or original work could help maintain the quality and authenticity of visual inspiration.
Overall, Cosmos has been a breath of fresh air in my creative process, and I look forward to seeing how it evolves.
Needs improvement
I like the aesthetics of the app, however it needs some improvement. First of all I don’t understand why the feed doesn’t update or reload fast enough most of the times I need to wait about 24 hours for my feed to update if I drag down the screen to force it to reload it just doesn’t. This makes me close the app as soon as I get bored with the current pictures and only go back like a day after. Next, if you click on one picture of the feed you can’t close it unless you press directly on the arrow button at the top left of the screen, which I understand. However, if we take pinterest as an example I’m able to use just one hand for all of my manipulations. In other words, I suggest you make the display of the chosen image so that it can be closed by quickly dragging it down, instead of looking for the arrow. Another thing is I don’t understand how can I promote my works and gain followers. Where am I supposed to post pictures so they appear for other users? Is my feed made of other’s content or is it the selection from the developers? Can my content possibly appear on the other’s feed? Can I promote my content? Will there be comments under pictures? Any connection to other users? Now it feels kinda lonely in the app. I get the idea of pure aesthetic, but it’s super clean and soulless as of right now. I would be really happy if you could respond with some answers for my questions.
Best of luck in developing!

Thank you for this feedback—it's so helpful.
The 'Featured' tab is manually curated by our team, so this is why it doesn't always update when you reload. We're working on new features that will help with this.
If your clusters are set to public, other users can find your content through your profile or through search. To find other users on Cosmos, try tapping into an element and viewing who else has connected that element. You can do this by tapping the profile icons in the top center of the screen above the element. Engaging with others' elements and connecting them is also a good way to get more visibility in the app.
We don't currently support comments, and you can't promote your content via paid promotion. Hope these answers help. For any more questions, feel free to reach out to hey@cosmos.so 🌻
I wouldn’t get it, lol.
So I saw an add on Instagram and thought why not compare this to Pinterest since that’s what everyone else is doing and supposedly it’s better? I was wrong. I downloaded the app and started by searching simple things. Like “NFL.” It came up with almost absolutely nothing related to that. I then searched up “Steelers.” Which is an NFL team. It came up with a few things, but nothing like Pinterest would’ve given me. Not to mention other things that were popping up that I wouldn’t want to see again. While I was searching things like the NFL, Top Gun (The movie) and even NASCAR, it kept giving me pictures of (Almost) completely naked women. Which is completely disgusting, never in my years of using Pinterest have I ever seen something like that, and I’d love to know how that’s okay? Yes, I know this app is rated 17+, but if you’re going to make an app that wants to grab the interest of people using Pinterest, make it family friendly at least. When you search something 9 times out of 10 it shows you things not even slightly related to your search and shows you a bunch of random pictures. The only thing that worked for me was when I typed in “Horror aesthetic.” So I believe this app is mainly for aesthetics and getting the certain color that you want. (As they’ve clearly demonstrated in all their adds.)
All in all, I don’t see myself using this app much, and ARE NOT impressed.

Thank you for your review. We describe Cosmos as a discovery engine for creatives. If you are looking for NFL, Top Gun or NASCAR imagery, Cosmos is probably not for you—and that is totally okay. We appreciate you giving it a try.
