Description
The INSTAX UP! Smartphone App allows you to scan your INSTAX photos that have been printed with a FUJIFILM INSTAX instant camera or Smartphone printer and store them digitally.
(1) Scan your INSTAX photos
Hold your Smartphone over an INSTAX MINI, SQUARE or WIDE photo when in Scan mode to save your INSTAX photos, digitally. The INSTAX UP! App scans and imports the entire INSTAX photo, including the instant film frame.
(2) Collect your INSTAX photos digitally.
Create your collection & view it within the INSTAX UP! App in two unique ways...
"Box View" displays your INSTAX photo collection in a digital “box”.
"List View" allows you to organize your scanned INSTAX photos into a list!
You can even organize and store INSTAX photos by theme, such as holidays, friends, and favorites. Then customize the background of your album and reorder photos as you like!
(3) Share your INSTAX photos & collections online
Use the INSTAX UP! App to easily share your saved INSTAX photos & collections to social media and messaging services.

Not worth your time if you're looking for decent scans
I thought this would be a good way to quickly scan instax prints, similar to Polaroids's app for their prints. Not really. The scanning features seem to be good, until I realized that I was only getting low resolution scans, with a big boxy blank area around the print. Sure, you can decorate that outside area with different backgrounds if that's what you're looking for, but for those of us that just want decent digital copies of our prints, this is not the app to do it.
This is more of a share your photos in a cutesy way kind of app, not a good choice to backup or share your photos in high resolution. (Clearly they are aiming at a younger demographic) I would recommend Polaroid's app instead, or Google scan for decent scans. It's too bad, because I've certainly bought plenty of Fuji film over the years. But I can't recommend this app.

1.We have improved the scan image resolution in the app version V1.0.4. We would appreciate if you could try scanning again after the update.
2.It is also possible to download images in the shape of a film without a background. On the film scanning screen, please select the desired film and press the download button at the top right corner of the display.

Not sure what the point of this app is
Tried it for 10 mins and found it to be useless. If I have transferred the printed images in digital format from the camera to my phone, why do I need to SCAN the physical print again??? How about you improve the INSTAX MINI EVO app so that it saves images in higher res AND you get rid of the useless background color that you are forced to pick (even if it’s transparent) that creates a pointless JPG image that you’re going to crop anyway bc you have the “Polaroid” framing to begin with!!
I dunno, it’s just dumb and smells like a “let’s collect your information for marketing purposes” kind of an app… To the developers reading this: spend your time and energy on making the INSTAX MINI EVO better because as it stands it’s very basic and clunky

Thank you for your comment. The purpose of this app is to enable both degital and analog camera users to collect their scanned film data and enjoy viewing them on their smartphones. The app can even scan the film with decorations (handwritten messages, stickers, etc.) that users made.
You can also download the film data without colored background. In the gallary, select one of the film and select download button appears on the right top corner of the screen.
In addition,we appreciate your comment on the mini Evo app. We would continuously work on improvements one the INSTAX mini Evo app too.
