After you pay for the service, the token limits on the summary will be drastically reduced. Even 10 minute videos will get rejected for being too long. I’ve sent messages multiple times to address this but the only bump up for one or two more before they reduce it again. Stay with the free service where you can process 1 hour video without a problem.

Hi,There is absolutely no change to the summaries between free and Unlimited subscription, once you subscribe you just get an unlimited amount of the free summaries you where previously using.This sounds like a bug or an issue with a video/s you where trying to summarise, please contact my via the support link in the app so I can fix this for you and other users.Thanks, Andy.

I just started the app and within 30 seconds it demands that I review it . I said skip multiple times and it wouldn’t let me have the chance to review it first . Never experienced this in my entire life

The reason why I gave only 3 stars is because when I was trying the with the free 10 or 9 summaries I was so pleased and decided to subscribe an annual subscription but I’ve noticed that in the last 3 summaries, you guys stopped providing the complete transcript of a video. So I went ahead and subscribed for one month and cancelled immediately and I’m looking for an app that provides what you did provide before. Your app is worth 5 stars minus 2 because of that. Knowing that you can do a better job and you just decided not to kind of bothers me.

Dear Summarify Support Team,I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent experience using the Summarify app. I had high hopes for this tool as a means of conveniently summarizing lengthy texts, but my encounter with it has left me utterly dissatisfied.To my disbelief, after just one paragraph of summarization, the app abruptly halted and demanded that I upgrade to the pro version in order to access the full functionality. This is not only inconvenient but also misleading. Nowhere during the initial setup or usage was I informed that the free version has such severe limitations. It is absurd that users are lured in with the promise of a helpful summarization tool, only to be held hostage by an unexpected paywall.Moreover, to add insult to injury, the one paragraph I received was riddled with inaccuracies. How can I trust the credibility of a tool that fails to provide accurate and reliable information even in its limited output? It is disheartening to see such a fundamental flaw in an app that claims to enhance productivity and efficiency.I strongly believe that users should be given the opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of the app before deciding to invest in the pro version. The current strategy employed by Summarify feels misleading, deceptive, and ultimately undermines user trust.I implore you to reconsider your approach to the free version and provide a more transparent experience for your users. The provision of a more comprehensive trial or a fairer system of limitations would greatly contribute to restoring confidence in Summarify as a reputable summarization tool.Regrettably, based on my encounter with the app, I cannot in good conscience recommend Summarify to others. Hi,Firstly thanks for your thorough and thoughtful feedback.I'm still working out the best approach for the free version of the app, as the it uses ChatGPT for summaries each summary request cost money, currently due to the limitations of the AI videos have to be broken into chunks around 10mins each and then summarised, each chunk is a new request and cost money, this is why the free tier currently only supports “1 chunk” before stopping. However now that I have more data on API costs and your feedback I’ll update the app ASAP so free users can get complete summaries for any length of video.I am working on another update that will improve summaries for larger videos and be able to summarise videos of 40mins or more before chunking.Additionally for the free tier currently, users get 25 free summaries when they first install the app and then additional summaries each week, which I believe is fair given the cost of the API.As far as the inaccuracies the app relies on the transcripts being accurate as well as the AI interpreting the summaries correctly, often YouTube will automatically generate transcripts for YouTube videos and these are not always accurate. If you could please reach out to me via the support page and send me the video I can do further testing.Thanks again for your feedback, please check back soon for new app updates.RegardsAndy
