Similar to other reviews I have been using this application form beta to launch. It is really nice to be able to have richer details in contacts. I historically have created a template and just paste it but going to events networking and doing lots it makes it extremely hard. The only two things that I wish this app had that I assume are in the works because they make the most sense. Contact reminders (like friends, family, biz) to make sure you are nurturing connections and also to make sure we are collecting more notes about where things are to reference again. for example if I called a distant cousin 3 times a year it would be nice to have a place to jot down notes about what they said and when to reference again when I call. The other thing that would be a game changer is better using dates for example, I meet someone and add information I want the date to continue to increment so when I see them again I can have accurate info. Bonus would be an on device Apple Intelligence feature that allows me to “Catch Up” and use my notes I have taken about a person.

Been using this app since the first beta. Holy cow it has come from being a mess to being something I will probably use regularly. Just spent the last hour setting up the relationships between all of the people in my contacts, and the tools Dextr (Formarly people) gives you to go through your contacts is unmatched and well put together. Excited to see what happens in the future with the application, and it never hurts to try it out, it’s worth it, trust me. My only complaint would be the lack of ability to create custom relationships in the relationship menu on the contacts. Right now you have to go into a whole seperate menu, and being able to do it on the spot would be great.
Amazing for organizing personal and professional connections!

I’ve been using Dextr a lot and I absolutely love it. It’s simple, intuitive, and makes it so easy to keep track of my relationships and interactions. I like how I can add notes, reminders, and even details about where I first met someone — it’s super helpful for both personal and professional networking. Highly recommend it to anyone who values staying organized and intentional with their contacts!

Have you ever been to a party where you had to ask that acquaintance what his kid’s name is for a third time and it’s super embarrassing?Do your kids have friends where you can never remember their parents’ names?Dextr’s been great for me to take quick notes and remember names and relationships. I’ve been saved on at least one work meeting where I checked the App and realized that, oh wait, this is my second call with this person, and here’s how I met them before. The only killer feature that’s missing is a general notes section (so I can remember other important info. Gluten free? From Minnesota? Dog passed away DONT ASK?) but this is stated in their roadmap and should be coming soon. Hop on board and finally remember all these people you meet.
Developer Response
We're glad to hear you're liking the app so far! We just got approval to include the notes field that can sync with iOS contacts, so it's been enabled in v1.0.3!
