Every great session starts with a spark. QuestDeck gives game masters an instant adventure seed — a randomized hand of story cards that sets the stage before a single die is rolled. Tap Compose and QuestDeck draws seven cards: a Who (the antagonist or key figure), a Motive (what drives them), a Focus (what the story is really about), a Tone (the emotional texture of the session), and three Tension cards — one for each act of a three-act structure from Setup through Escalation to Climax. In seconds, you have a layered, coherent starting point for a session. NOT HAPPY WITH A CARD? Reroll any individual card to swap it out while keeping the rest of your hand. Or lock a card you love so it stays in place when you redraw. If you already know exactly what you want, browse the full card list for any slot and hand-pick the result. FIVE GENRE DECKS INCLUDED - Core: Genre-spanning archetypes that work in any setting - Fantasy: High magic, ancient prophecies, and realm-shaking threats - Horror: Dread, isolation, and things that should not exist - Sci-Fi: Rogue AI, colony settlers, corporate cartels, and the cold frontier of space - Western: Frontier justice, outlaws, ambition, and moral compromise Mix genres freely. Enable any combination of packs and cards are drawn from the combined pool — a Horror tone with a Fantasy antagonist and a Western motive is a perfectly valid session premise. BUILD YOUR OWN CARDS Create custom cards for any slot type and tag them to a specific campaign. Your homebrew antagonists, original motives, and campaign-specific tension beats sit alongside the built-in decks and are included in every draw. SAVE YOUR BEST SEEDS Name and save any adventure seed for later. Come back to it when you are ready to run the session, or use a saved seed as inspiration for future adventures.
