Tilt it and the water leans; flick it and the water sloshes, heaps up against one side and rolls back; shake it and it chops. The world tilts with you — sun, shore, jetty — while the water does what water does. Ducks get thrown about, Johnny Castaway clings to his palm, the surströmming tins go airborne, and the Vasa keels over, as is tradition. Free for everyone. Settings › Display › Wrist Motion turns it off, and so does Reduce Motion. • Plask for iPhone. The duck has an off-duty life now, and it has been documented. • Kama-Duck-Chi: between baths, the duck that supervises your water lives on the launch screen. Drop in on it. Feed it, hand it a toy, put one of your earned hats on it — or don't. It is a rubber duck. It cannot starve, cannot sulk, and has never once been disappointed in you. • The whole pantry and every toy are free. Pea soup is served Thursdays and crayfish in August, because regulations are regulations. • It keeps its own paperwork: a dossier, a provisions journal, and a Frånvarorapport filed on your behalf whenever you have been away. Come back after a long absence and it will have been extremely productive without you. • Förtroende only ever accrues. No meters, no streaks, no decay, and the duck will never send you a notification. It files reports; it does not call you. • At klass II it is issued a feather. At klass III it starts addressing you informally — the du-reform, filed in triplicate. Ankvårdsenheten, the Authority's new duck care unit, opens with ten certificates. That brings the archive to 55. Four new scenes join Premium: • Fjorden — sheer cliffs, black-green water, and a Norwegian Blue that is only resting. • Vasa — she rights herself, sets sail, keels over, and settles back into the silt. Daily. • Skjutbanan — tin ducks on a rail, a wandering crosshair, and one real duck who has noticed. • Midsommar — maypole, ring dance, flower crowns, and one diver having second thoughts. That makes 13 scenes on the single Premium unlock. Still one purchase, still no subscription.

The water has a temperature now, and the ducks have opinions about it. • Cold water freezes the scene over. Ice closes across the surface with a hole cut around each duck, scarves come out, breath fogs, snow falls, and the aurora turns up if it feels like it. • Hot water steams. Ducks float on their backs among the jacuzzi bubbles and refuse to do anything useful. • Every scene reacts in character: the shark keeps its own channel open in the ice, Nessie's braes go white, the aquarium heater glows, the jellyfish bloom, and the surströmming ferments noticeably faster. • Ordinary bathing water looks exactly as it always did. The reactions are saved for water that genuinely is an ice hole or a hot tub — worth finding out in person. Temperaturenheten, the Authority's new Temperature Unit, has filed its first three certificates — including one for surviving both extremes inside a single week. Vinterbadare now also earns your duck a knitted mössa. That brings the archive to 45. A completed purchase can no longer go unrecorded, restores say what they found, and the paywall explains itself when the App Store is having a day. Water temperature comes from the watch's own sensor: Apple Watch Ultra, any generation, or Series 10 and later.
