Song of Kings is a cozy jigsaw puzzle game built on the Book of Kings, the great Persian epic that Ferdowsi completed more than a thousand years ago. Every puzzle is a real illustrated page from a centuries-old manuscript, and every page you restore opens another part of the story. REAL MANUSCRIPT ART Each puzzle is a genuine painting from historical copies of the Book of Kings held in museum collections around the world, including pages from the celebrated Book of Kings made for Shah Tahmasp. Once a page is whole, open it full screen, take in every detail, and share it. A NEW PUZZLE EVERY TIME A page is cut a different way each time you open it: square tiles, full-width strips that slide up and down, or tall columns. The same painting is never quite the same puzzle twice. THE STORY BEHIND EVERY PAINTING Turn the card over to read the tale the painting tells. The story side is part of the puzzle too, so you can solve from the painting or from the words. LEGENDS TO UNCOVER Restoring certain pages reveals the legends of the epic's heroes, kings and creatures, from Fereydun to the Simurgh. Collect them all in your codex.
