The assistant can explain output, inspect environments, read authorized content, and perform tool-based actions. •Clear Approval Boundaries Sensitive actions show their target and impact before proceeding and follow the approval policy you select. You retain the final decision. •Command Generator Describe what you want to accomplish and receive an editable shell command. Generated commands remain in the draft until you choose to run them. •Snippets Save and organize frequently used commands and scripts for quick access from the terminal. •Port Forwarding and Serial Connections Configure local, remote, and dynamic forwarding, or connect to serial devices attached to your Mac. •MCP Support Connect to remote MCP servers or expose selected Termind capabilities to trusted clients through the built-in local MCP service. •iCloud Sync Optionally sync hosts, groups, identity metadata, Known Hosts entries, snippets, and port-forwarding rules through your private iCloud database. Local-First, with Credentials Kept Separate Termind does not require an account or operate a hosted AI service. Conversations, command history, and workspace data stay on your Mac by default. Passwords, SSH private keys, and API keys are protected by Apple Keychain. AI requests go directly to the provider or endpoint you select without passing through a Termind proxy. Free and Pro Core SSH, SFTP, snippets, Command Generator, serial connections, and port forwarding are available for free. Termind Pro includes a seven-day free trial and a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks multi-pane workspaces, the AI assistant, terminal drop uploads, MCP, and iCloud sync. The trial does not renew or charge automatically. Usage charges from third-party AI providers are separate.
